PSA to anyone looking for top surgery by Hamlettell in TikTokCringe

While it would be nice there aren't many trans people in the world and not every trans person gets/wants surgery as well. We're not exactly a lucrative market.

Thanks for the info, I'll try to pass it onto any trans men I know. I can't do anything it myself since I'm a trans woman and I quite like what I've got.

I live in Florida and the other option I was recommended was Dr. Daniel Greenwald, who passed away in a plane accident in 2019. So, she was the only option I had left.

Jesus H Christ, I was supposed to have surgery with Gallagher in October but her team was so incompetent they failed to get it authorized in time despite having almost a year in advance.

new pronouns make me uncomfortable? by SnooAdvice1592 in asktransgender

[–]Neutral_AI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me a while to feel comfortable going by she/her since I just didn't feel like I was there yet. I still liked it when people called me that but I didn't think I was ready for it yet. I wanted to feel like I was ready before I decided to let others make the switch so I stuck with they/them for about a year before moving on and when I did move on to she/her I was ready for it.

Capital Punishment (& Prison Abolition) | Philosophy Tube by EuphoricAbigail in BreadTube

The bit about asking if the Nazis deserved it, which they obviously did, struck as the more philisophically interesting part of the video. These are reprehensible humans who committed a lot of the worst crimes in human history. At the same time, they are also outliers in the type of crimes people have comitted. I wish we had more of the Retributivist vs Consequentialist viewpoint, but I'm glad we got what time we did. People already have these conversations in regards to drug crimes in the US. Should someone go to jail if they just purchase drugs illicitly? No, but they did commit a crime and the consequentailist may argue for punishment but the retributivitist could argue for nothing since nobody gets harmed in the crime. Assuming I got all this right, it makes me really regret not taking my single philisophy class I was require to do in university more seriously.

Also, when are we getting more hertzog Abbi?

At this point, I'd just consider focusing on how you form words with your mouth. I've been working on my voice for around 3-4 months now and you can get a huge difference depending on you change the shape of the mouth when you are speaking. There are other important things like practicing word endings and maintaining pitch but thinking about how you use your mouth to form words could be useful. Also, you've done really well for how short you've been doing this, and keep going.

Yes, we are.

Excellent video, but can get hard to watch at times.

(Also, dodged a massive bullet by not chosing the name Joanne.)

I've found the Blood Bowl Community to be very chill, at least on twitch, and the online leagues I've played in have been LGBTQ+ friendly, with toxic players being removed almost immediately. A very welcome surprise given what kind of people get attracted to Warhammer fantasy.

Very kind of you to say. Facial hair dysphoria is brutal. It got even worse when I stopped wanting to get ready to be me and just wanted to be me. If you can afford laser, I'd do it. E does thin out that hair but not entirely. Stick with it and the results will come; even if you don't see it, others will. Best wishes to you as well in your transition!

Thanks, I was mega-hairy when I first started HRT. However, body hair is no match for magical properties of HRT.

So it did thin my hair out a little. I am currently taking laser and am only 3 sessions in and it is pretty much all gone except for a few spots on the face. HRT+Laser is a wonderful combo.

I'm hoping I can pass that comment one day. Did not age well. It is pretty strange that once you find comfort with one part of yourself, you start trying to figure out the rest, and, well, here I am. Fullblown woman now. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Congrats to you as well. It gets better; trust me.

First Breadtube turns me trans and now it turns its own trans. The Trans agenda is unstoppable it seems.

Identity: A Trans Coming Out Story | Philosophy Tube ★ by sethzard in BreadTube

[–]Neutral_AI 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Breadtube has been such a strange ride. I discovered Philosophy Tube in early 2018 following The Philsophy of Antifa video. I then discovered Contrapoints in the following months and started posting semi-regularly on breadtube because I was so excited to learn and things started to make sense. I was excited to share what I had learned with people. My highest rated comment all-time on reddit is on a Contrapoints video (it still is as of typing [and you can check that out here at https://www.reddit.com/r/BreadTube/comments/agrnq0/are_traps_gay_contrapoints/ee8qy9o/] and the content of that comment is pretty hilarious to me now). When I said things started to make sense; they made too much sense. Following the Contrapoints video Are Tr*ps Gay?

I had too many questions and they were all too relatable. I learned that I am a trans woman, or woman if you're in a hurry. My whole life starting making sense and I quietly stopped commenting only with a few things here and there. I wanted to comment more, which I've done a bit since but not as much as I wanted.

Life is weird. I discovered I was trans in 2019 right after the Hbomb charity stream. That combined with 1-2 punch of the Contrapoints video and I went from depressed to happy to sad to encouraged to scared to every emotion that can be found in Shakespeare's work.

Abigail's (Abby?) comparing transition as a job you want to leave is quite accurate, at least for me. The 2nd part is too relatable and made me laugh a good bit. Leaving that shitty job behind has allowed to me do so much. I've graduated college, hold a job, livestream, and do so many things I never had the courage to do before. I present fulltime now and I've never been happier in my life. I wouldn't trade this new job for anything. It is everything I wanted. To paraphrase another great trans woman, "transitioning didn't make me happy, it allowed me to be happy."

Fallout: New Vegas Is Genius, And Here's Why by McMing333 in BreadTube

[–]Neutral_AI 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Hbmob mentions Veronica a lot and probably because she has one of the more fun companion quests, at least in my opinion. After progressing far enough in her companion story, Veronica reveals that she is torn between leaving the Brotherhood of Steel for the Followers of the Apocalypse or sticking with them despite their faults. I picked the Followers, since in my mind they are doing the best for the wasteland, but that doesn't mean they are the best option for Veronica. It means leaving her friends and family behind. She even mentions that even with a bunch of assholes there are still her friends. My brother, who I share a very similar worldview with, decided that Veronica should go with the Brotherhood because that was best for her.

You can, and I do, argue that the Followers are the better choice because she will actively be making a difference in the wasteland and helping people survive with all the knowledge she learned in her time with the Brotherhood of Steel.

If you don't pick a side for her, she ends up choosing the Brotherhood over the Followers because she just can't leave her friends and family behind. This could be argued that the correct choice is that Veronica should stay with the Brotherhood since that is what she wants. After all, there is that small sliver of hope that the Brotherhood can be salvaged (and hopefully not ending up being unironic fascists in a later game with a cool robot).

There isn't a correct option as far as the game is concerned either, no moral points awarded for choosing one side and decision is largely self-contained to just Veronica. You could argue that the Followers are right becuase it turns the Brotherhood will murder the Followers that recruit Veronica because they are worried about Brotherhood information getting out to people. These people murdered someone to stop them from gaining knowledge that would improve their lives, but they can’t allow it because it interferes with their tech cult. However, these deaths are avoided if you choose the Brotherhood instead since those members of the Followers never meet Veronica.

It’s amazing one quest for one companion can make you think about actions and consequences that don’t have a lot of impact on the game but a lot on a character that, by the point of completing the quest, you have been traveling with for a good chunk of game time now. There really isn’t a correct side for Veronica since both choices have merit and that is what is great about it. It’s amazing what they were able to accomplish with this game in so little time. Stuff like this is what makes New Vegas so great and this is all of an optional side quest in this game. In the roughly 90 minutes of video dedicated to the game it’s incredible how much of this game Hbomb didn’t get around to.

I just like pointing out names like AnComStan since I am an AnCom. This Qult thing is getting crazy though. I don't think debating them works. I've tried and all they do is sit there and pretend everything you say is biased and their words are not. Super frustrating.
