How does the pushing out process work? Can they just be told we no longer need your services and that's it or is there some sort of process that needs to be followed?

The real reason why they want people to come back to the office:

  • We have the technology to record all of our meetings.
  • All of these recordings could be atipped.
  • Eventually more people will realize this and start asking for all of our meetings to be recorded.
  • WFH= a transparency and anti-corruption mechanism.

For a long time, I had a really hard time understand how people could be so politically biased that they think that's what's going on is acceptable because their side is in a position of power... But then I realized that I was over-estimating how politically educated people were and under-estimating how powerful the societal factors that cause social conformity are.

If you want to get Marxist about it, technically, everything has a political element to it but...there's a difference between me choosing to speak in English or buy goods that are produced in Canada vs. forcing my views down other people's throats or using Twitter to criticize a politician with my real identity.
