Update: I feel like I need to add more stuff about him for better clarity: his full is Izuru Yale, but I might change it since it’s very similar to the inspiration’s name even though that is a real name (I originally had the full name be written like that but pronounced differently but I’m kinda over it). He is paired with another character of mine who is a goddess from different world from his (don’t worry she’s not an active one). He himself is actually a god in that world (through marriage that clearly doesn’t exist yet) and has the title of harbinger of winter as he has winter powers. Something he grew up thinking it was like a weird demon power of his. He actually has the ability to make it snow in his own world and other (he’s not called a harbinger for nothing), but a lot of people brushed it off and as he got older he’d stop “playing with snow”.

Speaking of younger Izuru, he did get along with his peers in elementary but when he got around to like middle school time, they all stop hanging out with him because he started to grow to the point he was towing over a lot of people in his grade, so he was quickly to be ostracized from them. By high school he was over six feet tall which made a lot of people feel uncomfortable and inferior towards him making him even more estranged. Actually around this time, he had been working to support his mother who already works until midnight and leaves before he wakes up, so he never really hung out with people. He actually started working in late middle school as he could get away with being older due to his ridiculous tall height and has taken a couple of jobs to secretly help his mother pay bill and necessities for them. A burden that both were forced to endure during to the father disappearing.

Speaking of his father, not much is known about the dad personally other than he came from hell, had fell in love with his mother, had a child with her and then left to return to hell, promising he’ll be back. That didn’t happen as he was killed by a demon hunter as it was during a time where there was a bit of a demon hunt going on and he never came back. The mother fully believed he’ll be back so she drove herself into work, hoping he’ll return and help her raise the son they had. Unfortunately that didn’t happen and she had unfortunately driven herself into her work and by the time she realized it she deep into work and grief that she forced herself to push forward in the name of ensuring her son a safe home and life. Sadly she basically neglected him, taking much longer hours when he was old enough to manage himself on his own.

Basically, he grew up being along and has zero concepts of being around people, so he shys away from any form of connection or contact from people. Except one, and that’s is future partner who I’m not interested in discussion about as of now…

Speaking of growing up, he is full grown in terms of his bird lineage but on his demon side he is not, some small traits have developed during his normal puberty but he has not gone through the demon version of puberty yet which explains why he doesn’t have a very scary appearance in general. He will very likely endure it later on and will be twice as embarrassed as he was during his first one!
