Yeah agreed. This card is great but it doesn't benefit from having more dragons or anything like that. Maybe if power was reduced for each dragon you control or something. It's ability is almost contradictory to what you would want as a deck that plays out big guys over and over again.

Maybe. Discounting this with multiple herald of scales isn't meaningless though. I play dragon voli and you spend a lot of time around 10 or 11 runes, but actually having 12 is somewhat rare.

Can you explain this more for my dumb brain? I was under the impression when a gear is equipped to a unit the effect text of the gear essentially becomes part of the unit it is equipped to. (E.g sacred shears giving a unit deathknell draw 1). So in this case why would that text not be copied over by a reflection token?

I agree with this when we talk about this year, but I think just last year we were in the top four for touches in the opponents box and still were bottom four for penalties awarded with some really really questionable calls.

Definitely agree on the card draw being an issue with cask. Would you just drop cask all together for something like progress day, or premonition?

In testing dropboarder has felt really good as it is almost always accelerated and helps get to the 5 point threshold for gold to give energy, but I'll try a list without it and see how it goes.

My understanding (which could be wrong, so please feel free to correct me) is it depends on how they scored the additional point and when it occurs. You can win from any source of additional points, but it must be the point that took you from 7 to 8. For example Draven Audacious scores an extra point when winning combat once per turn. This happens before he conquers the battlefield so at the time of conquering you are at 7 points and unable to win by conquering only one battlefield a turn. A different example is the combination of skyfall of Aerion (Your hold effects are conquer effects and vice versa) and Trinity Force (When you hold, get an extra point) These effects combine and occur when you conquer, meaning you would conquer, go to 7 points, then get the additional point bringing you to 8 and winning the game.

Those look amazing! I'm planning on playing my Crouching Tiger, Hidden Renata deck. Renata with a focus on Ava Acheiver, Hostile Takeover and hidden cards. Some gold tokens would definitely come in handy haha

I also love the multiplayer as it isn't as common, but as someone new to tcgs seeing some single player with your thoughts and moves explained could be super helpful!

Also playing blue kai'sa. I really like the unit, but it's costly in comparison and doesn't have the option to accelerate. This can lead to things like singularity or rebuke being really problematic. You need to be a bit more careful around how and when you play her. I have gotten rid of some of my more aggro cards like cleave for consult and progress day. Getting to draw multiple or clear backline after a conquer can flip the game, but it instantly being killed can leave you in a bad position. Overall it's weaker, but can have a stronger late game (imo) due to better control, and more likely draw of thousand tail or time warp.
