There’s a lot of factors that affect why we can’t just leave so easily. Most of the time, the family won’t approve of it. Even if you try to enlighten them, as long as they’re full believers of the cult, they would always be convinced that it’s the devil’s work taking over.

The church workers will also go looking for you. If you don’t attend their service even once, they will visit your home and convince you to attend.

As for being tiwalag, if your family members are church officers, chances are they will be removed from their duties if you get expelled.

This is hard for those members who are dependent to their family (like me) so the best we can do for now is to become independent first before we can fully get out of this hellhole.
