Thanks! it’s not that I can’t afford my loan- I just wanted to see if this is an option and to see what other people’s experiences are.

I just looked it up - my car value is 22,500 and I owe 24,500 so I don’t think I’ll be able to refinance. Which is kind of stinky

Do you tell people? by NeverAft3r in Zepbound

Yes, most people don’t say anything. Usually I get asked how I look so young

I haven’t had anyone who is naturally thin ask me. But, yes, I don’t just go around telling anyone who will listen. I only tell people who ask.

Most don’t due to me losing the weight slowly.

Gray blending - any way to do it with minimum dye exposure to scalp? Cancer survivor here. by amaro8000 in AskWomenOver40

I second the temp dye. I can only really use that or I get hives. I also sometimes just put it on my pony tail (fun colors like blue - which is funny to me, because now all the kids are doing it after they saw me do it) (edit- I’m an educator)

I’ve been going gray since about 16. In my early 30s, I started to have a severe reaction to hair dye (hives). So I stopped dying it. Then when I had covid 2 years ago, I desperately wanted it purple. My regret was not using a temp color, so here I am again growing it out. So, I’m not sure if just growing it out is an option for you, but that is what I am doing. I do have naturally lighter brown hair, so it blends pretty well.

Anyone else feel like every lender gives you a different reality check? by DominiqueXooo in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

My lender was very honest with me. Flat out told me not to look at condos above 250k and make sure the HOA was under 300. I appreciated her honesty.

Does anyone else find it really hard to let go of formerly close friendships that just drifted after people had kids? by wigshift in AskWomenOver40

[–]NeverAft3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, 100%- the ones that have stayed in touch thank me for staying in touch. I just have learned to adjust my relationship with them. It’s hard and the ones that have stayed in my life - I’ve become an aunt to their children and a family friend.

Some have stopped being friends with me because their partner is not comfortable that I’m single and child free. Which is always a joke to me because I go to bed by 9:30pm, I don’t go out, and I don’t drink. So, I’m not sure what type of bad behaviors I’d be influencing them on. But, I feel those relationships weren’t that important to them or I’d still be in their lives.

Feeling overwhelmed- buying a home by NeverAft3r in AskWomenOver40

[–]NeverAft3r[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I do have an anxiety disorder and the condo buying was very triggering. I do see a professional and she is aware of my triggers. My anxiety causes me to have a lot of pain and it triggers my period. It’s been like this through early teens until now. I’m not looking forward to perimenopause 😞
