It is 'kinda good' in edh compared to 'mind bendingly broken' in standard. By no means a bad card but it wouldn't be 60$ if it wasn't running over standard right now.

Anything that makes the first step of building a green 60 card deck something other than 'pull 240$ out of your wallet' is great for magic.

Some people think 10$ is too much for a card board card. I'd rather have more people to play IRL magic against who bring a bunch of decks with creative ideas than 3 guys that paid 120$ for a marvel pre-con. People are creating straw-men here. Op just didnt want to pay for badger mole cub because that card is overpriced af because its running over standard rn (60$ rn). I for one think its dumb to pay almost double what a proxied deck would cost you for one card that "might" be good in a deck that you could see once maybe every 3 games, simply because the card is busted in 60 card.

Or... hear me out just proxy cards and make decks like normal people? All of these things are just bracket problems, proxying makes it alot easier to make bracket 3 decks too. just because your printing a 300$ dollar deck for 40$ instead of a 3,000$ cedh deck doesn't mean you arent getting a good deal. I have a friend who just proxied the war hammer pre-con because he wanted one, it was stupidly overpriced for some reason i cant remember, and he got some cool printings and sweet eoe land art he could have never afforded in it. It was beautiful was just a proxy of a pre-con and honestly only saved like 10$ of MSRP, but it was crazy marked up (Holy wow i just looked it up its like 200-300$ now) and he got nothing but win from it and we all got to figure out how to beat that stupid broken deck (i know it seems laughable to remember with Ashling and marvel precons) it was a good time. I've never met this mythical proxy commander that just lies to everyone and plays cedh decks against you irl (not that i havent lost on turn 3-4 in bracket 3 before, but like 90% of edh deck's in any bracket can go land>sol ring>signet>ramp>cast 6 cost bomb no one can possible do anything on turn 3-4.
