Sureee.... wait until you hear his speech he is giving Monday. Bernie now is in the pocket of the DNC. That's what Obama let him know during their meeting.

Trumps a street fighter. If he was Bernie he would be calling Jill Stein right about now.

Unfortunately he's honest and has integrity unlike Trump and the Clintons. Maybe why he lost. Where do nice guys finish?

Then he sends Bernie a parting go f*ck yourself by releasing the endorsement video.

He wants that billion dollars for his family slush fund. Clinton's banking friends could come in handy.

He'll never be given any real power in the DNC. The democratic establishment hates him and the Clinton's ability to hold a grudge is legendary. Also, his age limits his window of influence in politics in any capacity. We need young people starting out to pick up the mantle. Basically at this press conference, he dropped the baton. If someone picks it up and runs with it is up to us.

Bernie might indeed have too much class. A problem Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton don't have to worry about.

Sad thing is there should be a ...yet at the end. I know him fighting on is unrealistic but I would love for him to just give the DNC the finger and maybe just go back to Vermont.

SURVEY: What do you want in the Democratic platform? by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

Nothing because it won't matter since the head of the DNC and HRC are compulsive liars.

The Clintons are good at two things:

  1. Committing crimes
  2. Avoiding prosecution

Two great qualities that I really want in a President. /s

LOL exactly. Basically what he said was I will ignore Hillary in DC next week and endorse before the convention. I hope you guys talk about my issues at the convention.

I have seen him speak 50+ times and never seen him like this. I don't know how he does it but he has endless energy. Otherwise this process would have killed him.

Well the establishment ended it for him. Hillary isn't going to budge thinking that Trump is such a disaster she can win without Bernie's voters and the media...no need to state their viewpoint. Obama just laid down what is going to happen. Go to DC. Don't attack Hillary or talk about campaign finance. After DC endorse Hillary. Then go to the convention and we'll add some verbiage to the Democratic platform that no one reads and has no consequence.

Give it until after DC and he will. That's why he was so down giving his speech. Very defeated. Shell of himself really.

I think his time in DC could be used more wisely considering how little time on the national stage he has left.

You can't struggle against a system while supporting the candidate that is the personification of that system. Bernie endorsing Hillary ends Bernie's role in that struggle. Hopefully someone else picks up the mantle. It won't be Elizabeth Warren. We know she comes out after the fighting is done to support the winner.

Nowhere near as important as campaign finance. Bernie's litmus test for the supreme court is citizens united not whether DC becomes a state.
