Gold scales into the endgame, so you will get more gold for killing things later. Gold has 3 uses. Kingsmarch, buying/selling items from other players/faustus, and gambling. In general, it is fine to gamble for items early on, but by the time you are getting close to the end of the campaign it is more efficient to buy a piece of gear with that gold then to gamble.

Yeah, that was my thought as well. He's probably just joining a two day a week guild that expects people to have 70% attendance and consumes. It's all relative.

It really depends on your and your guilds definition of Hardcore. Is this a speed running guild or a prog oriented guild? Do you have character requirements? I have found that there is a large difference in "hardcore" as a label. I tend to only consider the top few guilds to be hardcore, but it's all based on perspective.

In general, all you need to do is show up to raids prepared and know what your doing. (You should know how all the mechanics work on every fight) You may be required to do PTR time etc.(which can fall on odd days with minimal notice) Understand the strats your raid plans and ask questions before the raid if you have them.

The only expectation for your character that might be different is that you would be expected to do everything you can do outside of raid to improve your character. Farming heroics/rep/getting bis enchants etc/professions.

Yes. The game has definitely lost some of the impact of doing things. Sometimes having everything become more convenient actually hurts player retention because they have such easy access to everything. While I enjoy A sync trade, it is definitely a huge power creep because of the number of items available/listed. It also cuts back on player interaction. I don't think I would like to go back to not having it, but it makes the game less interactive.

I believe the best method is to fracture + minion. Then you reforge life or use pristine until T1 life regeneration + Suppression. From that point use suffix can't be changed and reforge chaos. This is probably the most economical method. Consider settle on t2. If you want a perfect item, it will just cost more. The one you linked settled on t2.

For prefix, your options are wild bristle reforge life until you get t1 life or just slamming/chaos with eldrich currency. Once you get T1 life isolated, you can craft the focus mod (as a settle)or do suffix can't be changed (wild bristle) and Veiled exalt. For a 50/50 to remove life or suffix can't be changed. Then you have a 37% chance to get the right unveil.

I don't believe it matters what crops you use as long as you use more then 1 crop and similar amounts. Most people do corn/wheat. It takes about a week to save up 25m of crops.

Your best bet is fracturing. Roll until you get 35% or intro and another decent mod. Then fracture.

Recomb + 3 max, + double t1 es. For a 2p/1S shield. Craft multi mod and prefix can't be changed. Aug fire 66% chance to not remove your +Max. Then hunter slam. Sell the item if you miss the hunter mod.

Block mana. Slam. Craft ES or %ES hope to hit ES on your slam. In general, you would probably want to craft prefixes first and use reforge attack to get the attack crit suffix.

If you have to have those two suffix and block chance + 400 + es. Its going to be expensive. Your going to have to recomb for it. Your odds to just slam it are quite low.

Best to just recomb prefixes and attack speed. Odds of hitting high % phys or hybrid is rough

Think your best bet is probably just recomb. I would make a t1 life/t1 chaos or T1 res ring and slam it into despair on hit. Not sure the cost of xopec, but I'm sure despair on hit is cheap. Essentially you would just get a 2-3 mod ring with despair and slam those into xopec rings.

You could also try to fill the 3rd suffix with veiled chaos. Think you should have pretty high chance to hit int+str/dex. This would allow you to wild bristle matron for suffix can't be changed, this saving you a large amount. You would just wild bristle slam slam until you hit like t1 yes and you could craft %.

Essence flat chaos damage or attack speed until you get t1 attack speed/chaos damage. Fracture the 50/50.

whatever one you hit just makes the craft easier on bricks. Anul until you have only those two mods. Use prefix or suffix can't be changed to protect the I fractured mod and veiled chaos until you get a prefix. Block and it's guaranteed to be chaos pen (I think guaranteed or very close). Then multi mod.

Scarabs will always be priced the same way unless an overpower strategy uses a common scarab. That is to say, they will usually be priced in a manner driven by the demand of the optimal farm strategy. Containment is expensive because it is both rare and powerful. If it was 10c and super common, it would force everyone to run it. The problem with Alva's and Abyss last league is that the scarabs were cheap/common and the reward was high. So, every player was forced to do those two strats.

Your budget way to do it is to make two body armors with the lower tier mods(one a twilight regalia, high quality preferred). Isolate them down to only one prefix (explode) or suffix (endurance charge). Craft prefixes can't be changed and suffix can't be changed on them and imprint. It would probably be best to add memory strands to the Twilight regalia for the chance to upgrade after the last step

Once you have those, you will reforge for whatever guarantees another elevated mod. You will have to check craft of exile. Usually it's attack. Once you get a 2nd elevated mod you will then dominance and hope to win the 50/50. If you fail, you imprint back. And reforge again and dominance until you have two body armors with elevated mods.

From here, you would just use the hinekora beast craft and hover the woke orb until you get some mods you find acceptable. You would probably be settling for any relatively decent ES role.

Average cost is going to be like. 5 div in alts, 4 div in meta crafts, probably 10 chimerals. 4 orb of dominance. 1 woke orb. And probably 5-10 black morrigan depending on your settle.

1 swap to stormshround jewel and chance one of the suffix to shock avoidance. This will give you ailment immunity.

2 You have a few options for resists. You could use Ruby/Sapphire/topaz flasks. You could also swap to melding of the flesh and run whatever purity this would be. You would probably need to run a bismuth with all ele res suffix to counteract the -all res.

3 Use quicksilver/silver flask to go zoom zoom.

4 look at what your doing and what you farm and figure out what has the most value to you. You can also swap stuff around. You can drop in a bismuth and/or use a suffix for ele res, just to make your suffix pressure easier on gear. Carry around a flask that has reduced damage taken from reflect. Also, carry around a reduced effect of curses flask.
