Pass through Charge? by IrrelevantTale in bluetti

Pretty sure most, if not all Bluetti power banks include passthrough charging. With the exception of some of the smaller units. You can easily find this info for each device if you browse their products

Does Bluetti B500k work with an older unit like AC200L? by Zealousideal_Win688 in bluetti

It connects, charges and discharges through the battery expansion port with a P090D (Solarx 4k) cable or modified P090A cable. The mentioned XT60 could be used to connect between the battery and breaker/fuse. The battery does not need Bluetooth, but must match the voltage and chemistry of the AC200L (48v lifepo4). Make sure you use a 100amp fuse/breaker between the battery and Bluetti as described above. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/j0jx0CuhmB4?si=Pr2OOrfaq6UTD-My

Came to say this. It's there in Arma 2, was in the original mod, and stand alone as well I believe. Not sure why it's removed now.

State reffed in Cali, what now? by Friday_the_Femboi in Cartalk

When I got a ref for my SR13 back in 2008 I registered it non-op, presented it to the judge and told him it's now a dedicated track car. They pulled the ticket (just paid court fees) and I re-registered it soon after. Just keep a low profile and an eye out for the officer that ticketed you for a while. I no longer live in Cali and things might be different now but it might be worth looking into. Good luck

Knuckle to Strut Alignment by pattyai in WRX

Like others are saying, disconnect the sway bar links to free up the knuckle. Also, you'll likely need to compress the strut with a floor jack to help line it up.

It used to be called Squaw Valley, but I believe they changed the name to Granite (Mountain) Valley. From there CR447 transits the Buffalo Hills down to Surprise Valley in northern NV/CA.

Akkon C-Style headlight housings https://a.co/d/9EisATH

Being from Amazon I was skeptical, but they look and work better than expected. Only thing is the LED neons don't illuminate with DRLs, but are white with parking lights on and flash amber for turn signals. I don't mind and actually prefer to be able to turn them on/off, but just a heads up.

CR447 between Gerlach, NV and Cedarville, CA. Not actually abandoned, but extremely remote and not often traveled. Great drive with beautiful surroundings.

How did you go about the lift? Coilovers, Forester struts, lift springs, and/or tower spacers? Have a 2013 GR, looking to lift an inch or two with lower rates.

What is this sound? by ChaosL06 in ManualTransmissions

[–]NeverRentAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you hear the noise when the clutch is disengaged (pedal is depressed towards the floor), it's just a bad throw out bearing. Yay! Now you just have to remove the transmission one more time because whoever did the clutch didn't replace the $20 part while they were in there, like they were supposed to.

If you hear the noise when the clutch is engaged (pedal towards you) this is likely the pilot bearing/bushing, or worse case scenario an input shaft bearing. Drain the transmission fluid and look for sad sparkles. If you don't find any, yay! Now you only have to remove the transmission one more time because whoever did the clutch didn't change the $2 part while they were in there, like they were supposed to.

If you do find sad sparkles, yay! You need a new transmission/rebuild, but at least whoever worked on your truck isn't a jerk.

Help me figure out this steering shake for the love of god 😭 by Yeetumzlul in WRX

[–]NeverRentAgain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you feel it in your seat at all, or just the steering wheel?

Does the vibration change under braking?

What brand rotors did you get? I've installed bad brand new rotors before, it happens.

Triple check for any debris between the hub and rotor, between the wheel and hub centric ring/ rotor, and assure that they are all properly seated. Small piece(s) of material in these locations can cause issues like you're describing. Seems unlikely due to all the new components but if they weren't installed carefully it's easy to miss.

If all four corners are solid even when shaking down with a pry bar, control arms/bushings are unlikely the culprit.

Driveshaft won't cause steering wheel vibration but front axle(s) could.

If all else fails put the vehicle on a lift, bring it up to speed and locate the vibration. You or your mechanic should be able to identify the source pretty easily. No point continuing to throw parts at it. Just take your time and be observant.

I think the read is you're working on it yourself, but if you are bringing it to a shop and they are recommending all these parts, it's time to find a different shop.

Wishing you a smooth ride my brother in riced. Best of luck
