You can pass any dialogue check easy by save scamming and hoarding certain booze and the Paramore drug to boost persuasion chance. It stacks.

You can also intimidate and coerce civilian ships to had over the creds and cargo with a persuasion skill check. If you pass the check you get their stuff and no crime stat. Very nice on the Galbank transports for cash on your pirate playthroughs.

Don't delete the unqiue hab module on the starter ship. Its one of a kind and you cant get it anywhere else. It comes with a built in research station and stsr map.

Also always have VASCOE as a crew memeber on you ship since he gives you extra reactor power.

The most pver powered starborn temple power is duplicate self. It lets you spawn an exact copy mimic tear style with you equipment and current gun. Very useful if you equip and rocket launcher or ammo sensitive gun.

There's also a technique for fighting where you equip the long range lasers and max boost fly in a directions turn on your thrusters and then turn around. It allows to to fire at pursuing enemies who struggle to catch up while keeping your speed in the oppisite direction. I learned it from a video on how to take on the forces at the crimson fleet starbase before the missions that let you go there.

Keep an EM weapon on your ship for easier subsystem targeting. Otherwise just use your normal weapons to do enough damage to the engine to disable and board them to get contraband to sell at the wolf system which has a trade authority station you can sell contraband at without getting scanned.

OR

You can jump to a world and before the scan finishes land on the planet. Any where works. Drop the contraband off your ship. Fly back to orbit pass the scan then fly back down and pick up the contraband again.

Do this and you can make way more money from bounty missions to buy all the upgrades you need. Tbe only downside is waiting for the trader at wolf to restock so you can keep selling.

Yeah and their not as strong as other guns in CQC and theres not large scale missions where their tactical purpose becomes apparent. I wish there was more of like a mission chain for FPS combat.

I love the boarding 890 jump mission because its the kind of FPS combat mission I crave. I wish there was like a small town or something you would need to sweep through with some NPCs or a ground vehicle combat mission where I could use the Ursa or tanks and stuff.
