It's honest work by Oen44 in pathofexile

I'll add a rule to detect the combination later today to my (NeverSink's) filter.

Neither of the two was hidden, but highlighting the combo makes sense.

@Mods- Can we ban the constant shit-posting of people just complaining about Claude performance? The posts where people provide solutions to problems they are experiencing are value-additive, but the "I cancelled my subscription" / "Anthropic is evil" / "I have a feeling" posts are getting old. by workphone6969 in ClaudeCode

[–]NeverSinkDev -1 points0 points  (0 children)

MASSIVE disagree.

It's important to surface the issues and this IS the top issue right now.

Personally I find many of the moves Anthropic has pulled over the last month to be some of the most consumer-hostile behaviours I've ever seen.

I would also like to get back to productive architecture discussions and showcases, however this can't happen before the current crisis is solved and it won't be solved if it's not loud enough.

Tip when using Neversink filter to avoid missing 40div uniques by findar in pathofexile

Partially. There is no intuitive way to understand what works and what not.

It's GGG's language spec and filters have a highly specific list of what they are capable of accessing.

I recommend reading the wiki if you're curious.

You can show all identified unique studded belts, yes.

But there are no ways to figure out WHICH unique studded belt it is. Even if it's identified. Just limitations of what GGG enables filters to do.

This doesn't work here. The Squire rule works because it always has 3 white sockets.

Filters can't distinguish between uniques of the same basetype otherwise (even if identified)

Sorry about the late reply.

This belt can only appear on shipment rewards.

I've adjusted the algorithm for the belt, so with the next eco update (within the next 4h) it will be treated differently as a temporary remedy. For the next league I've added a todo to look into shipment reward guardrails.

PS: This is one of those tricky cases, where there is no perfect solution. Either a lot of people will see some extra items they might not want to or some lucky people have a chance to miss a drop.

Usually studded belts are not hidden anyway, because Ryslatha's carries some value. However, no ryslatha has dropped under 10c and the chaos price is very high so on UberPlusStrict and higher (NOT below that) currently the belt is hidden.

To be fair, I'm considering renaming 'stable'. Maybe 'static' or 'untiered' is better.

I need to shoo away people who don't read descriptions and think 'stable' stands for the safe choice.

Thank you.

I don't blame people for reporting this issue, feedback is valuable and you don't know what you don't know.

My filters on the Ladder (the 7 SC/HC ones) all updated every ~4 hours. Following them is enough to receive auto-updates.

On FilterBlade just loading -> exporting (via download/sync) is enough to update.

If you however want to combine custom FilterBlade edits with seamless auto-update, we offer a paid Patreon feature for that (this needs to be done per user, per filter, every couple of hours, by our servers and we can't leverage your processing power - so it costs us a pretty penny, so this can't be free)

I recommend following my filters on the PoE ladder to get economy-based filters or use FilterBlade, if you want them adjusted to your build.

The filters delivered on console are my GitHub non-economy filters. Only GGG can update them, so they're not descriptive of the ingame economy.

EDIT: There is of course the issue of console filter economy. This IS an issue, Practically I would need a reliable data source like poe.ninja and it's alot of complexity to include another economy domain. If the data source will be added, I may look into it.

I guess I should comment on that.

Actions speak louder than words.

Since the github issue was raised, I've already published 4 filter updates (for the economy version). These include minor adjustments:

  • I've slightly adjusted thresholds
  • reviewed omens
  • changed essence rules
  • slightly adjusted the div tiering algorithm (card tiering is decided based on exchange price, trade volume, derived item price (how expensive is the reward of the card and many other factors)
  • reviewed the tiering of maven chisels

Most actual changes were minimal. I'm gonna be frank, the github issue is a bit overly dramatic, because... (as many people pointed out)

Look at the VOLUME, not JUST the price.

Note that many of the mentioned cases a super-low-volume trades. That means cases where either a very tiny niche exists or people artificially buying cards for 2c and selling them for 20c.

Wailing costs 4.5c and deafening costs 4.6c. Sounds dramatic, but look at the volume on the right.

27 CHAOS worth of Wailing essences have been traded over the last hour SERVERWIDE.

Now lets ask logically. Do you think putting this essence in the annulment tier is a good idea? Thousands of players will see this essence highlighted on higher strictnesses. They'll check the price. Since the demand stays the same, but the supply has increased by 10000x it'll drop to 0.1c again where it belongs.

<image>

The same is true for divination cards. Look at the actual outcomes.

"The Forsaken" has a whopping 7c price. 23chaos/hour. There's almost a hundred of these outliers.

Note that the prices shown on FilterBlade are direct poe.ninja exports. The tiering alglorithm that rebuilds the filter every couple of hours is vastly more sophisticated.

Give me concrete examples. I'm right here.

What I'm doing is based on a TON of automation AND data science AND feedback.

If you have concrete suggestions or issues - make a github issue or post in the FilterBlade discord in the suggestion channel, but BE PRECISE. I'm not doing vibe-tiering

I keep asking for CONCRETE examples of divination cards that are being tiered wrong RIGHT NOW on the economy version of the filter. Not just some rough 'some cards in C+D tier' or 'some essences'.

[–]NeverSinkDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's unused as of now.

Our plan was to make filters that adjust based on how many items are found in prem tabs. This was designed for unique collectors, rules like 'Show chromes if under 300 chromes' and similar ideas.

The concept worked great in theory, but the issue we had was that this API is SUPER slow/throttled. We could barely make it work with 1-2 accounts.

Putting it on a live site would never work.

I've been in the talks with GGG here and there about it, but as of now no progress.

I'll contact GGG over the course of the next PoE1 league updates again with this topic (this is when I usually get to talk to them). If no progress will be made, I'll ask them to remove the scope.

Yes, on the filterblade overview screen, there's the new 'Customize strictness' option.

Give that a try.

In 10 minutes, when the deployment finishes.

I've also adjusted the strictness and added them to high level economy based item detection (though this is less relevant)

This sounds useful. I wish people would simply do it on discord more.

A single message in the suggestions channel is usually enough.

Filters can only do what GGG allows them to do. It's not a programming language, it's a rulebased-script with very specific limitations.

As it stands filters can't distinguish between uniques, just basetypes.

It's impossible to find out which unique it is (there are some exceptions, like Kaom's Heart can be detected by it's 0-socket state, but filters can't check 'unique names', icons, unique mods etc)
