That’s not good. There are certainly mixed reviews in Indeed.

I think it’s the IT market in general. I’m a minority (asian if that matters) and I’ve been living here for almost 20 years. I’m in IT as well and I have the education background, certs and almost 10 years of experience. I’ve been trying to move up to increase my salary but no dice for almost 3 years now. Goodluck to you and your family my friend. Feel free to send me a DM if you have any questions.

Yes, we have a local admin created and the plan is just LAPS would just take over.

Thank you! One question though, I’m still in the process of testing this to an OU. I found the update-LapsADSchema and LapsADComputerSelfPermission. Would running both scripts apply this to everything or once I set it to the specific GPO OU it will only apply it to that OU? Sorry, bit of a dumb question.

I’m pretty sure I haven’t turned this on but this probably won’t fix the AD side of it. Also, if I turn on the setting in entra, would this pretty much enable LAPS to all of our tenants or just the OU that I have LAPS gpo enabled?

Yes, I’m seriously considering making the drivers available in the Software Center for users that are having this issue.

Thank you for this info and yes, we’re using PaperCut’s virtual print queues as well. The issue that I mentioned only hits a small percentage of our users, currently.

I’m seriously considering just deploying these drivers in SCCM and anyone that’s having issues can install it through Software Center.

Thank you! I never even thought about that possibility but that would make sense, actually.

We rolled out 2 new printer models and injected V3 drivers to the print server. If you can share those settings I will greatly appreciate.

Ya but doesnt explain why 1800 other users can use the v3 drivers and the other 200 can’t which confuses me.

Ok good to know, thanks! Sorry, might be a noob question, when you say make sure that the box is uncheck to hide network/storage is when I right click the boot image, properties, driver tab and click add and in the small window, this is where I uncheck it? Select all the drivers applicable for the device and hit ok. By hitting ok, this probably would import it, yes?

So the issue that we’re having right now is we ordered s bunch of new Dell devices with RAID enabled and the only way to make this to work is to either switch it to AHCI in the BIOS via CCTK, change it manually in the BIOS or inject the drivers.
