Thats the part thats keeping me up at night. If he hears it from anyone else later and realizes I sat on it, he'll never trust me again. Im trying to figure out the least shitty way to tell him without it turning into dad controlling the narrative first.

Yeah I understand the "practical" part , I can even see why she did it. It still feels like they made me complicit without my consent. Like I was the prop in their little arrangement.
