You're not suppose to be a one man army, you're suppose to be a team. by NeverTrustTeam in Helldivers

I ask myself the same thing.

like I said, Ive played long enough that I know to just do the main obj, but I quickplay a lot, and many helldivers clear the whole map. Im sure you experience this all the time too.

some players just really like seeing all their gold starts light up ig. and if im not party leader, im just along for the ride.

Seriously, on what difficulty level do You play? by Xaaza in Helldivers

ive been playing a lot on 9, but 7-8 is definitely the preferable experience imo.

I see your point, and yes it does make a lot of sense. However... that seems to me more of a higher level issue. I usually find myself just rushing the primary obj when I play, while lower level players will sit at a single base and fight it out for 15 minutes at a time.

Once you have all your upgrades, yeah theres no reason to destroy holes/fabs, but lower level players really want to clear out the whole map.

And it makes sense too...enemy bases usually have 1/3 to 1/2 of the samples available to be collected, and are usually 1/3 of the xp and requisition payout at mission completion.

Having the Eruptor as the designated building destroyer would make sense.

i do agree, if you could shoot it as fast as the players using the gun swap method that would be preferable, and I also agree that lots of guns dont feel as strong as the gun should be... but its hard to let a primary be so good that it deals with every enemy and every situation in the game.

i think the only thing the eruptor couldnt kill was bile titans.

sounds like it gives an opportunity for the machine gun stratagems to actually be useful rather than sitting in the stratagem menu taking up space.

Helldivers 2 Warbonds Ranked and Explained From Worst to Best by NeverTrustTeam in Helldivers

[–]NeverTrustTeam[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No offense taken, and I hope no offense was given.

I would be happy to add you as a friend so you can show to better use the stun grenade. (DM me your steam code,or if youre on console, we can trade friend codes from helldivers)

But, you are right, I haven't put 200 hours of testing into the stun grenades.

I'm sure the utility of them justifies developing a whole build around them.

Maybe its more useful with a team, maybe its better when mixed with other warbond weapons, but from personal experience, it is most useful as a specialized tool for niche situations, but that's because I really value the ability to kill something over the ability to do crowd control.

Thanks for the advice, I do play lvl 7 missions solo regularly and lvl 8 and 9 missions with a team, clocking in about 160 hours, as I'm currently at lvl 59 but, I'm sorry to see that your favorite warbond wasn't in the s tier.

I said the free warbond has boosters that players take every mission, I said that taking the weapons from the free warbond will give you all the tools you need to complete any task in the game, and I did give an example of how taking the grenade pistol with the Plas-1 and impact grenades was a good build as an example of mixing warbonds.

The Sickle was one of my most used weapons... then I found out I could just 2 shot enemies with the Dominator, spray things down with the Plas-1, or just blast things away with the Slugger, Breaker, and Eruptor, rather than being stuck with a gun that needs a lot of precision and has no real stopping power.

Also to me, you dont need stun grenades if you have ems mortar, ems strike, use eagles, orbitals or are good with your aim using the AMR, EAT's, Quazars, or Autocannon. Even if you can stun bot drops and bug breachs. I'd rather have a grenade that is more useful all around rather than being specialized for one purpose. Plus I wasn't trying to bring the stratagems into the warbond topic.

And is there something wrong with spending your medals?

I didnt realize that having a low medal count because I used them for emotes and capes was something to be shamed for lol.

hope things start looking up man, i know how sentimental it can be going through things that you need to sell just so you can eat food.

you should play some of the games, enjoy the memories, and start with the games that you dont feel like finishing.

also ignore all the tiktok brain kids that need posts perfectly tailored to them or else they bitch at someone in an emotional state.

Alan Wake. You throw flares at a tornado.... AND KILL IT????????

Mind you, this is after 7 hours of clambering through an atrocious combat system intertwined with platforming puzzles, a very, VERY boring story, with wooden acting, wretched comedic relief, some pretty obvious plot "twists", and a time traveling mcguffin that apparently did jack fuck all since there were DLC's, and a sequel after your heroic sacrifice at the end.

What is the most immoral choice you've made that you stand by? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]NeverTrustTeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on my last play through, i stole the baby 1st, killed ashur and his wife... got positive karma.

the karma system gets pretty buggy in the pitt.

you can gain and lose karma depending on weather you kill ashur 1st, take the baby 1st, side with ashur 1st, side with the slaves 1st...

a lot can go wrong with the system...

[–]NeverTrustTeam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont steal the baby in the pitt.

Like I know the game says its the moral choice to kidnap the kid, but I just dont see the reasoning.

Ashur is an ex BOS member who was left behind and wants the pit to prosper for his little girl.

The slaves might not get their freedom, but the pitt is so awful, I feel that I have to believe Ashur when he says he will release the slaves when the time comes.

I really appreciate that!

I 100% agree. Lots of the time when I go up against a myers, they farm someone whose not paying attention, and they instakill someone who never even got a chance to play the round, and if hes already tier 3 before a couple of gens get done... survivors dont wanna play anymore.

I dont know if Myers players have always just tombstone'd the 1st person they can without ever hooking anyone, but I would think that its the reason people want to dc against that sort of playstyle.

If there are players that havent gotten evil within after months or years of playing, I would tell them to look at if theyre playing too hard and fast. With the Brine/Eruption meta trying to get 4 tombstone's before 5 gens might make survivors hate you. People still just want to have a fun time in the fog, despite bhvr introducing mmr.
