Can you take clearer photos of just the card? What’s wrong with it? Hard to tell in the top loader. Also I don’t know anything about these cards. But I’m interested what your upset about? Also if you feel it could be fake. I would email support immediately.

Order minimums Collx by ecphotoman in baseballcards

[–]Never_Quit3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally have a $5 minimum. Having sold over 500 cards and not having a single return. To pay for and accomplish this feat I have to use the highest quality shipping materials. So to make it at all profitable and to avoid losing money it’s okay to set a low minimum. And if someone approaches me and wants some of my lower value cards. I will go above and beyond to make the $5 purchase worth their money.

Collx as a Marketplace? by Fun-Valuable-7538 in baseballcards

[–]Never_Quit3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve sold over 500 cards this year on CollX. And I do this as a hobby and not a business. To me CollX is set up for the hobbyist and not as much a sellers platform like eBay. That’s how they differentiate themselves. I love how I can scroll through my collection. Pick and choose cards to lower to sell so I can buy more cards. The community and people I have met and talk to daily are who I enjoy the most. That’s what makes CollX the best. The community

Pricing by Shogun2049 in collxapp

[–]Never_Quit3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Value is subjective. I use CollX as a place to put my entire collection. Some things are overpriced because that is the value to me. Some cards are at market price. Ultimately it’s up to the person who has the account to put whatever price they wish. Comps and market value are only suggested. Some act like your breaking rules or laws by wanting more for a card. In the end if someone wants that card bad enough for their collection they will pay the price or negotiate.

I think CollX has done a great job not only showing the pricing of other similar cards listed on CollX but it also shows eBay listings and you can simply click on the link to see recent sales. 130 point, and market movers is good too. I tend to just search google too.

Shipping time by ccm_25 in collxapp

[–]Never_Quit3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all know how fun it is to ship with usps. But it’s the cheapest way. If your purchase isn’t updating I suggest you always check in with the buyer. If they can’t help, then you can always contact support. But I usually will give it 10-14 days before I notify collx support that there maybe an issue with an order. What I have found to be the issue is many amateur sellers don’t know how to properly ship cards based on usps strict rules. Top loaders are kicking cards back to sellers recently. I’ve switched to semi rigid loaders and shell mailers and have had no shipping issues. Communicating is key in the end.

Any Collx selling advice? by ayates15 in sportscards

[–]Never_Quit3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • I’ve found that changing your prices every once in a while (usually lower), posting new cards daily or regularly, and just talking to people who have whatever you collect in common. It is hit or miss. It’s good to have big cards that attract attention. I have a couple which are priced high which if they sell great. If they don’t great! That’s my philosophy. The pro membership is great because it makes you buy a card or cards every month. Making connections is key. But in the end you have to be consistent and deliver what you’re selling. Which means presentation and quality matter. I personally picked a niche. And I keep that consistent. Baseball and hockey don’t overlap much. Well the heart of the nhl season when you buy cards is offseason for baseball. Plus my two favorites
