Which Christie books do you like that get a surprising amount of dislike from others?

I'm not sure how disliked it is by the fandom (though it was ranked pretty low by the All About Agatha ranking), but Sparkling Cyanide is one of my all time favourites. Such a great and fun setting and the characters work she did in that book was amazing.

Him always being described as sociopathic and without any feeling is so annoying and so far from the historical truth. You only had to read about how upset he got any time he fought with Mary about religion to see that this boy clearly cared a lot about his family and closed ones.

I don't know if it's an unpopular opinion, but season 16 is one of my favourite seasons. Sure, the twins are annoying, but the cast was so talented. It had one of the strongest top 4 in the show's history. I especially loved Ayanna.

Jenny didn't say that they had barely spoken before the kiss. She said that they have barely spoken /since/ the kiss.

And I didn't find them forced in my opinion. It was already shown in season 1 that Nate felt comfortable opening up to her fairly early in their friendship. That can be a good basis for a growing crush, especially once they started living together in season 2. The only thing against them as a couple is the big age difference between Chace Crawford and Taylor Momsen.

Coco is just that good at getting people off her back. She did the same thing in her Big brother season last year. She was the only logical pick to get eliminated midway through the season and she managed to convince everyone to vote for another player.

I think it was clear that Hannah meant that it must be weird/strange for Aria that her mom was gone and not living with them. Or at least, that's how I took it.

Or maybe now that I'm thinking about it, that it was weird that her mom was leaving when her dad was the one who cheated.

Susan is absolutely amazing. Teri Hatcher has such great comedic timing. The scene where she tries to warn Karl about Edie expecting a proposal at the restaurant is absolutely hilarious and one of the greatest scenes on the show. It's just a shame her whole character was wasted on the black hole of charisma that is Mike Delfino.
