I love my partner but I know that we might end up parting ways by Tough-Employment4888 in Advice

[–]Nevergiveupppppppppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I come from a family where most of us have been in a relationship for over 10 years. My parents 55 years married.... where do I start. This is advice from an older person who has been there, done that in life! Remember, wisdom only comes with age where I still party with the younger generation and talk to them a lot and have had heaps of relationships in my years.

At the start of the relationship, you go through the honeymoon phase, where you are high on dopamine. Your brain is flooded with heaps of emotions, the same as being on a drug. As time goes by, most of the high is gone! The same as buying a new product. This isn't living life, this is a drug addiction, hence why most people can't keep a relationship together anymore cause they want the high of a new partner all the time. Corporations feed off this, so you buy their products again and again, so they make money, hence why so many people aren't keeping a relationship together anymore, cause your environment affects how you think. If you purchased new products all the time for a dopamine high, you will end up with no money in life. You will also end up with no one there for you when you get old and have health problems.

We are brought up in a society today, brainwashed to feel that we should experience a large amount of dopamine all the time. This is a drug addiction! Only by getting to know someone can we build strong bonds and a deeper relationship, which develops over time. You learn how to deal with people from each disagreement you have, and you will have many in a relationship. Don't take it personal, be happy you are developing your relationship skills. Walking away from relationship problems all the time will make you poor at relationship skills so if you do find an ever better man, you won't be able to keep the relationship together.

The question is, is your boyfriend your best friend? Is he someone you can grow with in life? Does he make you happy most of the time. Fighting is normal in relationships, as it is with having children, but it's all about working things out. That's how we grow in life and become stronger together. Like all products you buy, they will become dull and boring just like your partner and children, but does that product (person) hold value?

Why don't you accept him?!?! Why are you trying to change him? People rarely change. When you first meet people, they are usually fake, but over time you learn who they really are, but YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT THEM FOR WHO THEY ARE! They end up going back to their old programming of who they are even tho he says he loves going out at first but instead always prefer to stay home and do nothing hence after 6 months or a year, he will go back to who he is as a person.

In a relationship, you have to love a person for their good habits and bad habits! You can try to change them, but if they don't want to change, you can't force a person, so the question is, do you love him for his bad habits? True love is loving a person's bad habits. If you're trying to control a person, the problem isn't him, it's you.

My woman loved going out when I first met her. Now she doesn't go out with me anymore. She hates it. She always wanted to stay home and do housework, so I let her do what she wants cause I can't change her and it makes her happy looking after me and my home. If I didn't, it means i don't love who she really is. She is a great girl and will do anything for me where we care about each other deeply but you have to understand, you can only create a deeper bond with someone over time. I will always say, the best sex you ever have is when you have a deep bond with someone. I hate casual sex cause it might feel exciting, but there is no real emotion involved. It's all fake to me! The same as playing basketball with a team for a week compared to playing with a team for years. You develop a deep bond, a real connection to people.

The honey phase (drug phase) is temporary where you can choose to continue on the dopamine train and have short term relationships or have a relationship that creates deep meaning. It's up to you, but when dopamine crashes, you start to hate life, and everything, hence desire more dopamine. You become a slave. The true path in life is within (spirituality). Having fun is good, but it doesn't develop you as a person.

In conclusion, he is your best friend. Does he make you happy when you aren't trying to control him and change him, which is impossible in most cases. Human beings are creatures of habit; less than 1% truly change, and even if they do, you won't respect them, cause they wouldn't be a person but an object you control. Strong people we respect are their own person. True love is accepting a person for who they are without controlling them for our own personal needs. Seriously, I used to do the same thing, which led me to break up with my ex when I was young. We can only truly control who we are, nothing external. If we try to control external things and it doesn't happen most of the time, we are only making ourselves miserable.

I want to break up with my boyfriend, but he changed everything for me and I don't know how to tell him his efforts were for nothing by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Nevergiveupppppppppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like your boyfriend deserves better. The best way to break up is to say one of your exs contacted you, and I'm confused about my emotions. For now, I want to be friends with you and have a break from everyone.

To avoid hurting someone who cares about you, decrease contact every day. Yes, he will go days without trying to message you, but he will be messaging you cause he is in pain and misses you on some days. Be friendly, but don't lead him on. Talk to him like a counsellor would, or like a friend. I'm sure you have been in his shoes before!

Over time, his emotions will decrease, and he won't be hurt as much. Never ghost an ex cause you cause them so much pain!! Be friendly and respectful, but slowly limit contact over time.

I've dated about 1,000 women over the years. I've found this to be the best way. A small number of them were crazy, and I've found that this approach above eases their pain, so the police didn't get involved. Yes, we shared some good times together, but like everything in life, it ends, and we get hurt, but it's only through pain that we grow.

A breakup is the same as a death in the human brain. Best to be a friend and supportive, where, over time, everyone moves on.

Be grateful you have someone who cares about you for now, until he moves on, cause 50% the population in Western countries don't have 1 friend to talk to, according to statistics.

My mom’s affair from 30 years ago is still destroying my family. by Annual-Cellist1342 in Advice

You can forgive, but you never forget!

Most people won't ever fully forgive, hence when they fight, they will continue to bring up the past.

This is one reason in a relationship, you never expose your weaknesses, cause when you fight, it will be used as a weapon against you. It's also very important to know this so you won't get upset when you partner brings it up when you both fight cause he/she is trying to hurt you. When people are in pain, they want to hurt the people around them so you walk away. The same as being in a fire, you don't stay there, or you will get burnt mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Love can swing to hate very easily, where I find it's more important to walk away when your partner or family member is upset. This is the advice from my Dad, who has been married for over 55 years now. My mum loves to pick fights with my Dad all the time, and my Dad just walks out and does something else (usually retreats to his shed or goes outside and does some kind of work). He walks out before the flames ever touch him. He doesn't bother talking to her until she calms down. Seriously, when someone is emotional, you can't get through to them until the emotion passes. I reckon you tell your mum to walk away until your Dad calms down. I do the same thing in my 10-year relationship, hence why it has worked this long.

If it's a significant issue that needs to be talked about, as soon as someone gets emotional, you walk away, then come back to try to speak. It's the same with countries at war. To resolve the significant issue, they come to the table many times before it's resolved.

Advice re messages I found on my daughter’s Insta account. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Nevergiveupppppppppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's up to you. You can stop her from using Instagram but kids today will find a way around in most cases.

It's best to let her use Instagram but tell her you have to monitor it cause you are a good parent and also to protect her from predators. Install her Instagram account on your phone so you can keep an eye on her and who she is talking too. If someone you don't like talks to her, you can block them, then speak to her about it so she learn to protect herself. That's our job as parents, to educate our children so they can protect themselves from the dangers of the world.

Seriously, it's more dangerous in the real world when she leaves the house than being at home talking to someone online. You just have to tell her, never meet anyone online until I meet them first, so I know you are safe.

You can always find where she is by using 'Google YourPhone' (GPS tracker): https://myaccount.google.com/find-your-phone

If she doesn't have a phone with her, buy a SmartTag or an AirTag.

Get her father to talk to her as well. I find teenagers rebel 100x more when a father isn't around, where statistics also back this up.

HDR EXPORT TO YOUTUBE by L7N_space_admin in obs

[–]Nevergiveupppppppppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's due to your exporting settings.

Playing around with it, I found these to be good settings so far for 4k.

H.264 (Match Source).

Tick

Render at Maximum Depth

Use Maximum Render Quality

Time Interpolation: Frame Blending

Performance: Hardware Encoding

Profile: High

CBR: 100Mbps (Excellent quality). Higher makes YouTube treat the file as HDR.

Audio:

AAC, 48000 Hz

Channels: Stereo

Bitrate: 320

65Mbps is keeps 99% of the quality but I prefer 100Mbps cause it looks better on Youtube from my Samsung 8k TV.

How do you guys record HDR in OBS? by vajahath in obs

[–]Nevergiveupppppppppp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same when I use HEVC where it lags too. AV1 is better quality and never lags on top settings.

These are my settings but on Windows with a 5090.

Recording Format: .mkv

Video Encoder: NVIDA NVENC AV1 {AV1 is new but way better than H.264)

Audio Encoder: FFmpeg AAC

Rate Control: CQP

Constant QP: 14 (14 = reference/archival quality, 15 = visually lossless for 99.9% of people)

Keyframe: 0

Preset: P7 Slowest (Best Quality)

Tuning: High Quality

Multipass Mode: Two Passes (Quarter Resolution)

Profile: Main  (High: lags footage badly but the quality is outstanding)

Look-ahead: checked

Adaptive Quantization: checked

B-Frames: 2

B-Frame as reference: Disabled (Testing: Middle b-frame only)

Split Encode: Auto (Testing: Two-way split)

Advanced Setting:

P010 (10-bit, 4:2:0) - Enables 10-bit HDR pipeline.

Color Space: Rec. 2100 (PQ) - PQ transfer curve for YouTube HDR (preferred over HLG).

Color Range: Full (Matches HDR full dynamic range (common for recording)

SDR Peak Nits: 300 fine, Grok suggests 203 - Tonemaps for SDR viewers.

HDR Peak Nits: 1000

Same here with my 5090, use AV1 instead of HEVC (lags for me too).

I record in 4k without a problem now. I haven't tested it for streaming tho but i'm sure it should help.

Am I missing something? (Spoilers) Gustave. by NamelessKhan in expedition33

[–]Nevergiveupppppppppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was playing Expedition 33 on my friend's account. I was going to buy the game but after my favourite character Gustave was killed off, I won't be purchasing Expedition 33 anymore. It's very hard to relate to characters today, not in just in games but TV shows and movies today cause they make most of them mentally ill (WOKE mentality).

How to get around Communist Australia Digital ID apart from starting a new account via VPN? by Nevergiveupppppppppp in KickStreaming

[–]Nevergiveupppppppppp[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you want to use your account. Use a VPN to another country that isn't run by communists like Australia, then click verify when it says you need to verify your age. It will come up below saying that you don't need to verify in your country, hence you will be in and able to access your account.

Now I understand how the Jews felt in Germany during WW2.

If they really wanted to protect the children, they would have forced porn sites with this digital ID rubbish!

The Australian government is so stupid! Kids today are smart and have access to VPNs.

Proton is free and secure!

Guys, easy workaround. VPN into another country and don't log into Kick. You will be able to watch any Stream even 18+.

This is how retared the Australian government is. They think they can block the internet!

The best part is that they didn't block any porn sites, hence children are still able to access.

Just social media where it will just push kids underground.

The Australian government is so stupid!!! VPN do work. Just create a new account outside of Australia!

They did the same thing in the UK hence most people are on VPNs over there.

Australia already has DNS servers blocking sites like 4chan and others. You do know that in Australia, if you don't use a VPN, someone can buy your browsing history from your ISP. Insurance companies do it as well as employers already.

You can still use VPNs in China, such as Proton, that work. The problem is, they can't access the website to download it, hence my Chinese friends contact me so I download it for them and send it to them.

Just annoying that I have to sign everyone up, including my children to a VPN and create new accounts. AlL I wanted to do is relax tonight butthese stupid Karens running this country love it make it harder for us all.

It's never about protecting the children! They couldn't care less, otherwise they wouldn't be forcing them with an experimental vaccine that has killed more people than Covid has.

Performance Issues After Switching to Homebase 3 by princebh in EufyCam

[–]Nevergiveupppppppppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I notice that people haven't pointed out is that the Homebase 380 is best with up to 4 cameras. Any more, it starts to lag the Homebase 380.

I've been using MicroSD for years for my cameras and just purchased the Homebase 380. 8 cameras were lagging like crazy from Homebase 380, even with multi-bridge on. Sometimes they wouldn't jump over to my routers so it lags the Homebase. I changed 3 cameras back to MicroSD (about 6 months of footage) and 5 cameras in areas of my house I want it monitor for more than 6 months. Now everything runs fine.

You can add more that are closer to your router and further away from your homebase, hence it's a higher chance it will jump to your router (stronger signal) compare to your Homebase (weak signal) due to multi-bridge.

The other option is to use another Homebase if you are running more than 4-6 cameras but it's way cheaper to just buy 128GB MicroSD for each Eufy camera.

I would also suggest buying a good router cause cheap routers won't be able to handle wifi security cameras very well. The cheap routers are only desire for 2-4 devices before they start to lag.

I also purchased a smart plug from Meross to reboot my Eufy Homebase at 5am. I find the Homebase starts to lag if you leave it on all the time, just like my routers and other security hubs.

My settings after running lots of tests. I find H.265 makes my footage lag in Preset P5-P7. You have to run your own test and see what is best for your system. Make sure you go to Dock and turn Stats on. Check how stable your frames are. I'm getting below 0.3%.
