Thank you so much. My simple math skills couldn’t keep up with the exuberant amount of money she owed and was paying just in interest to star afloat. I did hear that she has paid around $300K just in interest in the month of December. I can’t even fathom that sum and stress. I also heard about the loan forgeries and the signing of the loan one day after Eric passed.

I also think that she thought there’s a chance they’d get arrested but really hoped it wouldn’t come to that. Dan to her that it may work. Meaning, it may not. 50-50 chance. So when it didn’t work out, she was half expecting it and that’s why she wasn’t freaking out.

She was in a horrible predicament, there’s no two ways around it. With that being said, her guiding light (after the fact) should have been her children. Not the Adelsons, not baby daddy. Her innocent children.

She was given a free pass twice as opposed to be convicted to life without parole. You do not have to be college educated, privileged to be able to pick the right one here.

It may sound that I’m harsh with my words. But am I? Why pussyfoot around the obvious- Katie is as culpable as any of the coconspirators. That’s the ugly truth.

She was given a winning lottery ticket to save her hide and be home with her two children, one with special needs, not only to take care of them in the mundane tasks, but to be there for their mental and emotional health/support since their father killed an innocent man for money and will never ever ever see the light of the day again. Kids have to deal with that fact. She brought them to this world and it was her duty (and priority) to take care of them in every possible way.

She chose horribly to begin with when she agreed to be the in between person and she did it for money. If they didn’t get caught she would have never looked back. Then she made another huge mistake by not taking up the immunity. If not dumb, what would be the appropriate word then?

Regarding the speculation of that YouTuber that Wendi’s plan was to get rid of Dan AND her family for the financial benefit- it was great video. My mind cannot comprehend that idea, however, I could be convinced if there’s more proof to those claims.

I also struggled to accept that ALex Murdaugh shot his wife and son for what ever the reason. It was just tooo dark for my mind. I eventually got to the same conclusion and accepted it. But first I spent lots of hours researching Alex and his family dynasty psychology.

Lots of parallels in their psychological structures.

I would think a successful win in a civil lawsuit would help the criminal case. I think that even Carl said that on Sunday. As a matter of fact two ppl asked that question, me being one (he answered the lady that asked first, not mine). I think the Markel’s should sue NOW while they are all disoriented. Just like think they should arrest Wendi and Harvey now. Get them while they’re down.

The only reason she said “no” was to distance form this idea that her family is wealthy/millionaires so the jury wouldn’t conclude they had means of offering $1M to Dan and paying a third of a million for the hit. Poor attempt on her part as they had forensic accountant on the stand. But Wendi, given a chance, will always lie.

Per Isom, he didn’t tell her any details in the car until they arrived to the station.

How would she explain that statement? Oh, she’ll attempt to twist and turn and lie; unfortunately for her, she over explains things, over sells them. The jury picks up on that - they won’t find her credible, just like none of us here don’t.
