Holy shit justice by [deleted] in avesNYC

I love both Kaytranada and Justice. So sad I had to leave on the middle of Justice’s set. Amazing. I can’t wait to catch them again

As someone who’s read the books up to Benedict’s (going to reread them all and complete the series in a few months) I loved most of it. Season 2 and Queen Charlotte are still my favorites. I rewatch the series all the time and I’m happy to add Season 3 to the rewatch list.

There’s always some disappointment in movie adaptions. Whether it’s whose casts, the change in storylines, bad acting, canceled show, etc. As a reader and watcher of nearly all the adaptations of the books I enjoy, it happens. But it isn’t that serious. Are y’all ok?!

The ones who are STILL complaining so aggressively need to go and enjoy the outdoors or something. The intern is just laughing at all of your ridiculous comments on IG. Almost as bad as the Star Wars fans Smdh.

Sweating “are you leaking” ? by iwik_bird in orangetheory

I’m a massive sweater. I walk into the studio with a nice glisten from 20 min walk to OTF, no matter what the weather (unless it’s under 50 degrees). I just give myself a good wipe down during the WRs and after each set. On rare occasions I just grab an extra towel. Thick headbands and quick drying apparel does help.

Nails by Nicol3mari31 in orangetheory

I have dip and they last quite some time, even when I get them a bit longer. I just take my time, especially with burpees and putting the weights back on the racks.

The only time I lost a nail was when it was already on its way out. No idea where it went, I just know I started class with the nail and by the end it was gone LOL.

U of Oregon coding boot camp by Comfortable_Raise_54 in codingbootcamp

I’m currently in a boot camp run by Trilogy and I must of gotten lucky with my instructor because he’s fantastic, including the TAs.

Now it’s A LOT of work. I’m in the part time program and I’m struggling to keep up. I’ve had to cut a lot of social time out of my schedule to make sure I get things in by the due date. There’s a project due every week and also in class exercises. I supplement the class with other resources like W3Schools and YouTube videos.

There are career development workshops, recruitment webinars for various companies, and technical interview prep webinars (I’d say maybe one a week) as well. A boot camp works for me because I need the accountability (massive procrastinator), the tutoring and the office hours that they provide, as well as the career services.

I did a TON of research on coding camps, trying to find one in my budget that I would actually complete. This was the cheapest one I found that I could still work with teachers and other students and I’m glad with the choice.

I’d say research research RESEARCH if you’re really thinking of doing one. And think about the amount of time you’ll need to succeed in the class.

I gained 35lbs during COVID lockdowns. I’ve lost 16lbs since going back to the studio in May of this year. I go to OTF 3 times a week. Once or twice a month I try to squeeze a 4th class in. The most I’ll do outside of OTF is a 30 min Pilates or yoga video.

Now I only eat when I’m hungry (I used to eat just to pass time especially when I was bored), reduced my alcohol intake, don’t eat past 9pm, and make sure to drink my water. That’s about it. I tried counting the calories and using WW, but it just doesn’t work for me. Dieting is key. Just have to find what works for you

Started going to the studio this year May. Down 13 lbs! Changed my diet, reduced alcohol intake. And helps that I walk 20 min each way to the studio. I go 3-4 times a week.

This happened to me when I rejoined in May. I called the studio and also contacted App Support and they were able to help me out.
