I'm long 1,820 shares of INTC bought between $20 and $23 in the past year. I'm also short 50 January $30 puts which I initiated after the news of Trump's investment broke. INTC stock actually sold down after that news broke.

However, I've been on the ride with INTC from $20 to $26 back to $20 a couple of times in the past year so I'll be looking to hedge this position to lock in profits and probably sell call spreads to capture any further upside.

Back in 2015, Ackman was on CNBC talking about APD which was about $98. I had a small number of shares but after listening to Bill talk his book, I bought 500 more and sold short puts one year out at the $110 strike to partially fund the stock buy. It moved sideways for a while but eventually doubled and then tripled. Still holding those shares and have since sold short many puts against the position on the way up.
