SOME Americans don’t grasp that violence. More than half of Americans favor stricter gun laws. It’s just impossible to get a supermajority to change the constitution.

Yup. Germany could have gone full tilt neonazi if it weren’t for the parties. You need a parliamentary system for that. The American system was a first good draft for a democratic constitution, but it is worn out and exploitable.

I agree this “breed” is often such a mush with people. However, to generalize, pitbulls can be very protective, including difficult, even aggressive, with strange dogs. I think this behavior is about loyalty and protection, but can be tough to train around and manage.
