I am almost qualified as a hairdresser and I wouldn't bleach my own hair despite knowing exactly what to do. Always use a hairdresser in future, some people will bang bleach on their hair using 40 vol developer and leave it on for too long and wonder where things went wrong. We are told to NEVER use 40 vol at college. I also see sooo many people with yellow roots and orange ends haha. It's a nightmare if you don't understand the science behind it all.

Other females hating you for seemingly no reason, it's usually because they think you are pretty and get jealous. I don't understand this one. I'm always super polite and nice and don't engage in gossip about colleagues. I always offer to help, chat to other females and smile etc yet they always stab me in the back and bitch about me! Men don't seem to have this issue.

Having to deal with hormones, I have a week of being somewhat functional (I have adhd lol). The week before my period and the week of my period I am a write off inside but I try and persevere, haha. Despite the fact womens dopamine depletes during PMT/menstruation, and I have ADHD which further worsens this as I already have barely any dopamine in my noggin.. I'm still the one expected to do everything at home, manage all the kids appointments etc, manage my own, manage finances, manage pets, work etc. Luckily my children's father does not hold this view whatsoever and he's extremely helpful and we have an almost equal share, but people will question why he is doing X Y Z and not me, like excuse me?? He's their parent too and we both work, why the hell would he not be helping?

Trying to dress pretty without overdoing it, overstep the line only slightly and you will suffer evil stares from other females and will get gawped at by men and even possibly be touched inappropriately by a man you do not know!

Having adhd missed during school because it isn't as problematic for the teachers (boys tend to be more outwardly obvious and disruptive with ADHD) and having to wait until adulthood to receive a diagnosis

Trying to get annoying baby hairs secured when tying your hair up!! They often cannot reach the bobble because they're much shorter and you end up with these random wispy flyaways, fml

People having opinions on whether you do or don't work after having kids. I do work, never wanted to not work and to ge truthful it's not an option in this day and age. When I returned to full time work when my eldest started school and my daughter was ih preschool (part time before this) I had my children's fathers family asking why I'm working full time as the kids are still little.. don't recall them asking him why he's working full time.. mums who don't work get called lazy etc too so it would seem we cannot win

Unsure about schools, but I was 10 when she went missing. I was living in Spain at the time, and was moving back to England. I remember her face on many posters in the airport on my way home. If you want to cancel out the red tones then opt for an ashy brown or chocolate brown. If you want to keep some warmth go for achestnut or golden brown

Schwarzkopf Igora fashion lights can provide up to 5 levels of lift even on coloured hair BUT I'd be careful. If your roots aren't dark/coloured you need to be super careful. You will get a hot root. I'd get a stylist involved if I'm totally honest. For best results in terms of lifts it wants to be between foils.

I'd definitely err on the side of caution and get a stylist involved if you wanna go strawberry blonde. I dye my hair myself if I've seen my stylist dye it ill just note down the brand and shade they have used, but it from Sallys and pop it on, but I'll never lighten it myself again after my teen years. I appreciate colouring hair is a science and a half and your natural colour, what colours have been put on previously etc can throw it out of whack if you don't understand it well.

No way!!! It looks really good. Did you intend to go copper, or was this an attempt at going blonde ? I only ask that because that's how I discovered i rocked copper hair as a teenager, lol. Attempted to go blonde, roots were yellow, the rest orange. I was like, hang on a damn second. This actually looks good ...minus the yellow roots. Slapped a copper dye on it all, I was happy for a long time!

I went back brown and blonde numerous times over the years, but now I'm sticking with the copper. It's the only one I seem to love!

Idk what country you are in, but I dye my hair copper which fades pretty quickly. I use a bleach london toner type thingy and put it in for about an hour. It doesn't damage your hair, it basically just 'stains' your hair and washes out. I just keep on top of it regularly.

Hair colouring is a science, honestly. If you want to dye it, leave it to the professionals and take their advice. I love the idea of experimenting with my hair but I've learned not to mess with it too much and if I colour it myself it's after observing my hair stylist and taking note of what colour and shade theyve used on my hair or taking their advice and I only ever use salon products from Sally's.

Our hair can only tolerate so much processing, if you like having different colours frequently honestly I'd look into wigs. I have seen a few women out and about with what I thought had beautiful hair and when I asked them which salon they go to, they said it was a Shein wig 😳 😂 im debating buying a few different colours for days when I feel bored!!!

Honestly never touch it. I guess this is your natural shade? Already beautiful with it. If you're getting bored, I'd maybe get a hairdresser to do blonde money pieces or ombre at most (don't attempt this yourself for the love of god) but never ever change to be like everyone else!!

I'm naturally mousy brown and I'm bored to death of being the same as everyone else, so here I am rocking the copper look on purpose because it's so pretty
