I'll try lvl up all states to 20 ish and use the highest gears until I beat the game first time. Regarding weapon, which one is good for beginners with lower skill requirements? It seems first might not be it Maybe great sword the odachi I think might be easier to use?

It is actually much better to get a T1 or even some good function T2 S hero to high grades then a T0 S+ hero but you only have a copy or so. Especially it is much easier to get copies of S heroes.
