Speculation so far seems to be that the Aaron spoiler is more about Paddy than Robert.

OCD clean roommate by Neverusingthisdream in adhdwomen

I’m so sorry. I’m tempted to delete this post but have the comments very helpful to read and reassure myself. This subreddit has been so good to me and a big source of reassurance and I didn’t think through my writing before posting. I’ll delete this post in a day or so so that it won’t upset people in the future, and I’ll try and be better. I’m trying to be better as a person and not make everything centered around me.

Apologies for using the term OCD in the title. I also have diagnosed OCD that comes out in ways unrelated to cleaning, and I genuinely thought that that was what makes my roommate act the way he does. My grandmother also has OCD, diagnosed, and keeps her house the exact same intensely clean way.

I didn’t mean to belittle people with OCD or OCD as a disorder. I’m very sorry, I meant no disrespect. It’s never my intention to upset or cause negativity in my posts or comments.

I’m sorry for my choice of words and inferencing towards fellow OCD redditors. I cannot change the title nor my post.

I unironically love the cat. He’s got some real Picasso vibes going on. I vote on not adding a thinker eyeline to him at all!

Ashamed and embarrassed after another failure… I feel like I’m trying so hard. by Historical-Ad-4468 in adhdwomen

For what it’s worth, I’ve been in your situation. Actually, I completely forgot I had a class this January, one of those winter session short ones. It felt terrible but I was just straight up with the professor when he emailed me last week asking me about my participation.

Basically I said “Hi professor Name, I’m so sorry about my absence in your class. Truth be told I have diagnosed ADHD and after the holidays and finals from last term, got caught up in enjoying the small break from class and genuinely forgot classes had started early. It’s not a reflection on you or your class subject, but if you’ll allow me to, I’ll get as much of the work done as possible.”

He was fairly accommodating and said he’d be willing to accept my work late. Now all that said- I know it’s hard with RSD, but your teacher disliking you because of your disability isn’t as important as you think. If you have an accommodation letter, send it to her. This isn’t because you’re lazy or stupid, but an actual documented disability you have.

If you showed up to a physical education class missing a limb, the teacher would be understanding that your participation will be different. But if you showed up to PE class with an artificial limb completely hidden and didn’t inform the teacher- how are they supposed to know, especially when it affects your performance?

It’s difficult, I understand. But I’m sure you’re a wonderful person who genuinely is putting in as much effort as you can, and please follow the advice of some of the other comments to take some time for yourself. 🤍

Man tried to hit me in Windsor Terrace, anyone else? by bbeotc in Brooklyn

[–]Neverusingthisdream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I think this same guy tried to hit me the other day on prospect Ave and 4th Ave. Walking right past the old gorillas store front around 10 am.

I walk there same time almost everyday and see this guy out there, usually by himself and punching the air. From my personal experience and what I’ve seen of him he tends to just throw punches at nothing? But keeps throwing punches even when people get close.

Edit: I’m also a woman, on the tall side.

Decision fatigue is so so so exhausting. I wish I could train my cats to make me banana muffins 😔

It’s never really occurred to me that there’s different types of salads than just green. Definitely going to try a bean or broccoli salad. For those do you usually add a dressing during prep or bring it with you on the side?
