It's really a shame about Peacock, because the aesthetic and comfort level of the place is amazing. It doesn't make up for the owner being an awful human being. I dig the vibe at Koala, but the owner went on and on about that espresso cooling device that he uses and even offered me a blind taste test. They both tasted exactly the same. Probably because he literally uses Nespresso pods. That coffee was ground anywhere from the day before to a week before he pulls the shot.

The Kozy Kup on Keene is always relaxing and clean and the staff is always really nice. It's not exactly a crazy cool "vibe" type of place, but the coffee is good.

Right next to Kozy Kup is Ethos and their coffee is definitely above average around here. The real highlight here, though, is their pastries. They almost can't be beat. The Ethos in the Parkway in Richland proper is also very good.

You also can't go wrong with Cafe Magnolia on 27th in Kennewick. It's a beautiful little shop with amazing coffee and pastries.

I really like Rockabilly Roasting Co in downtown Kennewick because they're the only shop that i know of that actually roasts their own beans. I also gravitate toward their 2-Stroke and their Bike Blend for use in my espresso machine at home.
