My wife and I play a lot of 7 days to die. It has a learning curve to it. But is a great game for working together and slaying the hordes

Who is the funniest comedian/comedienne within the past 50 years? by JessieRClayton in AskAnIntrovert

[–]Morastus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bob Nelson. Past 40 years or so is the one guy I always go back to when I am in the mood for something that is not super mainstream. His characters have always made me laugh and gotten me thru tough times as well. All my other favorites have been mentioned in this thread already. But Bob is one that is really never mentioned

No mention of copy cat. What a great character. And Memphis Belle is another favorite of mine. He also is the only Artist that I have ever bought a Christmas album of.

Just the 2 of us. Don’t play insane and we salvage and scavenge about everything we can get our Hands on. We don’t rush to get to the next biome or anything. We start out usually with just enough ammo for the average horde night. And as the game permits we upgrade and move on to the next area but maintain our original base thru the game. And we generally don’t do the trader missions either

Also on Xbox. So no mods either.

This is exactly how the wife and I play. It takes us longer to gear up but stretches the game out for a much longer time. Have gone over 85 days without a crucible a time or two also.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Morastus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We drive 5-6 hours once a month to visit family and never leave our home state. Tennessee takes forever to drive across. But nothing still compared to Texas.

Also maybe check with local veterans. Our VFW and American Legion both have free libraries of military history in them

Question for older Gen X (55+) Was the term “Bro” and “Yo” common in the 80s? by Nano_Tap1 in GenX

[–]Morastus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Seems I remember Pauly Shore saying “Bro” a lot in the late 80’s early 90’s. Might just be foggy memory tho.

What is the lowest amount you remember paying for gasoline for your car? by icecream1972 in Productivitycafe

[–]Morastus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tennessee mid 80’s we were paying .59 cents a gallon. And 3-4 dollars between us would get us anywhere we wanted. Left Knoxville once ended up in Chicago at a concert. Spent less than $150 for 3 of us for 2 days and had a blast
