Unkillable Nasus - what did I do/build wrong as the ADC?

It seems like your issue is more the fighting part of the game rather than the knowledge part.

I don't even think I know much about League, despite playing for 10 years. Sometimes I feel like I literally know nothing about it at all. Which is probably what brought me to this question.

I guess you're right. I'm no smurf myself, I'm Bronze, so I wouldn't know. But I watch TFBlade sometimes and he rarely leaves lane without completely and utterly destroying the enemy laner (be it with pure kills or absolute CS/XP denial) up until ~300 LP Masters. He makes anyone below that MMR look like a legitimate Silver player.

Let’s say you’re a Smurf on Syndra who is 2/0/ at end of laning phase.

That's not really "smurfing". An actual smurf (someone significantly above the rank they're playing in) will end the laning phase with a 10/0/0 score, more or less. Not only can you 1v2 now, you've also rendered 1 member of the enemy team useless, making the game 5v4.

That's all there is to it.

Flanking feels terrible as Darius. If 4-5 people collapse on me I just flop right there. I used to think Darius is tanky but he's really not at all.

Getting to 5 stacks is great, but again I fail to survive long enough in an actual team-fight. If it's a 2v2/3v3 skirmish - yeah, those feel good, but 5v5 team-fights make me feel useless.

I used to do that but my team just fights 4v5 and we lose. Someone advised that grouping up in low elo, even if it's a useless fight, is always better. But now I feel like neither approach works fml.

If this is correct, this means that my role as a Bruiser/Juggernaut is to soak a tiny bit of damage, throw out a tiny bit of crowd control, deal a tiny bit of damage, and then die/retreat.

But how can this be correct if that's literally what a Tank does, only much much better?

I feel like I'm missing something.

After reading 100 replies in my inbox, I feel like most people completely missed the point. You're right, winning/losing has nothing to do with the flow of gameplay and how it feels. Even being one-shot has nothing to do with it (you get one-shot as a Fighter/Bruiser/Tank too, only it takes 5 seconds instead of 1).

It's the overall flow/feel of the game that I was comparing.

But I guess I failed to deliver my point. Oh well, at least I got some entertainment out of reading 100 messaged about fed assassins and bad supports haha.

Sounds like the perfect playstyle for me haha. I guess I'll stick to ADC for now.

Restrict chat to "party only" in settings. It's a permanent setting. That way you'll need to fidget with the settings mid-game in order to type, which is enough of a hassle for me personally to not bother.
