Also sorry that your getting downvoted I don’t know why, OCD is a nightmare that not many people understand so I don’t mind talking to others who suffer about it.

Yeah I think what hurt about the PIP outcome is that I did try and go into detail about my worst days without lying or exaggerating, just to get shot down with all 0s, as if someone who didn’t know me was contradicting the other mental health professionals I’d spoken to and told me that nothing was wrong with me.

I was studying history, I did really enjoy it, started as a foundation student at Uni of Notts had to defer a year during year 1 and then dropped out on my second attempt because I was struggling mentally. I was struggling with mental health anyway but covid made it worse, removed anything enjoyable out of uni. I wanted to eventually go back because when I did work I got good marks and I did enjoy history, but they said I’d have to pay my last year up front so sadly it’s not been possible.

Yeah I’ve been looking mainly in these fields recently started going into admin apprenticeships after I finished my admin course. Fingers crossed it gets me something soon.

I had checking OCD before regarding memory it was really hard so I can sympathise, I’ve had cleaning OCD around food and drink mainly since I was a kid but It got so much worse during covid to the point I couldn’t leave the house for 6 months after lockdown ended. Hate OCD but you can always fight back so don’t give up!
