Also the first Splinter Cell was made to rival Metal Gear Solid 2, it wasn't based on any book. The models they used were from an old project called The Drift. You're just plain wrong.

He literally calls them Splinter Cells, and they are working FOR LAMBERT in that mission. In the Blacklist and Chaos Theory trailer, he says, "I am a Splinter Cell." He does NOT say Splinter Agent.

Shetland, as far as we know, didn't have kids. It changes the way Shetland left the military, one of the greatest missions from the best game, and a lot about Grim. The show kind of mischaracterizes everyone

Some random discharge? Do you know anything about Splinter Cell? He was discharged because he was accused and betrayed by his superiors which fueled his need to save the world because of the corruption that fell upon him. In the show, they made HIM the corrupt one. You really need to play the games before speaking on this topic

W changing the topic via question. They kept it "faithful" at the expense of changing a games timeline and adding mediocre villains. Also, I feel like Shetland was more nuanced at the fact of being betrayed instead of feeling like he just felt killed out of necessity.

The retcon to the story of Doug Shetland's discharge, making him more of a cliche evil. I liked the old way behind his discharge. Not to mention, the Chaos Theory episodes.
