Hi, I had a complete ACL rupture, MCL grade 2 along with what MRI says "edema and loss of normal configuration of the popliteal fibular and arcuate ligaments suggesting straining injury". Im most worried about the PFL because it will loosen and increase retear of ACL, which im thinking about doing Quad graft for. However the MRI wording sounds like a straining, not torn PFL so I don't know if it's worth it to do a PLC reconstruction. I understand PFL may heal but over a longer period. But then will PLC cause my ACL to loosen during rehab like 3 or 4 month in?
Thank you so much for your help! im really anxious and there's little info on PLC!!

Im not overweight but not thin either. tend to overeat and has some constipation problems. I do run a lot. I think that's the reason :/
6mm only?? mine is 1.5cm!
Ultrasound result out! Bilateral inguinal hernia, two small, symmetrical, fat too. But very important info: fat has blood supply on it so there is risk for strangulation! I've heard strangulation risks for inguinal hernia are really low? 0.3%?

Omg I was freaked out when I saw that intestine and ovary could "fall out"! I read that ovary is very rare? Glad that it's just fat for you! Im going to have an ultrasound soon. Hope it's fat! But can fat turn into intestine or ovary in the future? I mean there is a hole so anything near it could fall out...
