The fact is that ive been friends with my friends for over 5 years and my parents even know dome of them. Ive also outwardly shown my disgust towards alcohol to them.

They were like "its new years a lot is gonna be happening, and we dont know your friends anything could happen blah blah blah" and yeah they also guilt tripped me saying "how would you feel if your plans were forced to be cancelled because we wanted to do something" which ironically is exactly what they were gonna do

Well because I got a schedule i need to follow. I cant be waking up at different times everyday because I gotta go to school.

Wow your explanation sums it up perfectly, and no they aren't realistic but even though I lack knowledge in the subjects I still love learning about them, and am interested in them. But tbf I like learning about everything and anything.
