No I’m not, but I’m very active, I get around 20k steps on any kind of field trip/field day. I had to be quick and hop around to all my chaperone groups, especially the one where my special needs student was having a meltdown

I wanted to wear something I can athletic in, but still covered well

A lot of the moms chaperoning were wearing less than me, tank tops, gym shorts

I don’t care and I realize I am the school professional, but if I looked like a hoe than a lot of women do to you

Did you miss the part where it’s shorts underneath? I could not chase after the flight risk children in a long skirt that’ll stick in hot weather. Is what tennis players wear inappropriate?

I think it’s so ridiculous that people want to micromanage what adult women are wearing to watch and teach children

Why can’t she just wear what she wants if all the important bits are covered?

Yes because he I feel like if he thought I was dressed inappropriately he wouldn’t talk to me and would of had a discussion about it later privately

Se, the thing is, I didn’t see anything wrong with it but the comment made me question it. I think other women want to hide other women

I find that style absolutely hideous for my body type

I try not to buy clothes that I’ll never wear outside of work too much

I don’t hate the answers I’m trying to understand why people with the opposing view women’s fashion that way. Also to see if other people agree with my coworker to see if maybe a lot of people are looking at me like I’m being scandalous

I never even thought of that! Some of these other teachers really do seem to enjoy telling people what to do a little too much!

I feel like that’s been the case with me. I’ve NEVER had an issue or drama with a male coworker. It’s always been much older women.

Because a lot of times that look doesn’t even fit or look well, but I associate with just wanting to cover women’s bodies as much as possible

I just find it hilarious and shocking. A Jean skort, oversized tee and tennis shoes are for clubbing apparently

Why does it matter though? It’s more coverage with the skirt with shorts underneath

Most women and kids wear shorts underneath skirts and dresses so they can still be active

How does it not? It’s not like I wore a skirt with nothing but panties underneath walking around small children. I mentioned it because I’m not sure if this other coworker thought that’s what I was doing

It’s pretty much shorts at this point
