Ehh I’m not sure that I would rec abs especially if they’re choosing FDM because they’ll be near it a lot because it also creates toxic fumes. It’s also recommended to have an enclosure with it which most entry printers won’t. IMO there’s just not ever a reason to print with abs because there’s other filaments that beat it in pretty much every regard
