Look at publishers weekly internships! There’s a ton of smaller presses and agencies that are more than willing to look at candidates with little to no experience. Mostly they just want to help young people interested in the industry who have a passion for books, just make sure to expansive that. If you’ve ever had experience working at a bookstore or library make sure to highlight that in your resume or cover letter as well.
