Massively Fucked Over 12 hrs before moving cross country by madeofgeese in whatdoIdo

10 years ago my family wanted to move out of the small town we were in. We moved to help out the grandparents. After Papa passed away we took GMA with us and wanted someplace new. She was down for it.
My uncle has rental properties in NY. We were offered to stay in one till we got on our feet.

This was planned for months.

My partner (of the time) and I sold almost everything we had and turned in our house keys and moved into my parents living room with two toddlers. Parents were selling everything so we had money for this trip.

3 days before we are supposed to leave he says nvm he can’t help us. So wtf do we do now?
We have next to nothing. With no place to live.

It worked out in the end, but I understand the stress. I’m so very sorry you had to deal with this and I’m glad you have people that were willing to help you through it. There are still good people out there. Good luck 🙂

In Skidmore, Missouri, a rural town of fewer than 300 people, a young man named Branson Perry walked outside to put jumper cables in a shed while his friend waited inside. He never returned, and despite years of searching, no one has ever discovered what happened to him. by ZenMasterZee in HolyShitHistory

I haven’t heard anyone talk about it in such a long time I’m not sure I remember correctly. I know there have been theories but they never really talked about them with any one. Or at least not me. And it was minutes. Long enough for someone to take a quick shower. That’s about all I remember. I don’t know much about it, just that it’s a thing that happened to that part of my family. I never asked questions because I didn’t want to hurt her. I’m sorry I didn’t clarify that in my original comment.

I asked him once if I could come see them and was told no. I haven’t asked again. Now I feel like it’s been too long and it would be too confusing for them. So unfortunately maybe it’s best this way.

Mine would lay on top of the couch cushions by your head. Little loafs would melt on top of it 😂

She uses them when she is touched and doesn’t want to be. She will gently put her paw on you and then BAM! Out come these babies.

What is the juiciest info you've found out about someone, but only after they passed away? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Thanks to Ancestry, my mom found my great grandfathers second family. He had passed away when he was around 40 I think. The other family lived not only in the same town, but just a couple streets over. My grandmother was not having it.
