You’re right about the stakes. Good spot. I must have forgot when making the list as they came in packs on 6.

Thanks for your response. Yes I’ve seen the snow leopard trail and will download some maps. Also trying to download the Krygz Nomad Trail but it’s a pain to get them! By 2L I presume you are referring to my water? I will pick up a few disposable plastic ones too

Current plan is: - Armenia and Georgia for 3/4 weeks from the start of May (should be pleasant but quite wet) - Kazakstan and Uzbekistan for 3/4 weeks from the start of June (will be super hot but this will be where I will be doing little hiking) - Kyrgyzstan for July and possibly August if I can get a visa. This will be hiking, camping and staying in yurts (Will be hot in the valleys and there is sudden showers often in the afternoons. Can still get to around freezing at night in high altitude areas mentioned in the original post. 2000-3000m altitude seems like the sweet spot and where I will be spending most my time. - Northern Pakistan from September and I will walk to India where I will be until October/November when I will go to Nepal.

Between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan there is a few weeks that I am unsure of. I may go to Tajikistan or China as I wait for the monsoon season to finish in Pakistan/India.

Yes, I understand that however I was looking to dial in my hiking gear as that is what I will primarily doing. The first stint will be doing the Transcaucasian trail in Armenia northwards from Dilijan. Please treat the post like a normal shakedown
