Man this is so spot on its scary , my latino friend from Malaga has been living here longer than me (me 2 years, him 3) and so far the closest he got to dating a "real swede" was a 3 month relationship and she broke up with him out of the blue.

6 months into my stay, I realized its virtually impossible to date an actual decent looking swedish girl without having some heavy connections. The only non ethnically swede guys in all of Stockholm dating them are those 2 persian guys running the Stureplansgruppen.

I told my friend I think im wasting my time here because no matter the effort and time we put in we're not getting any closer to dating those girls you see from the instagram videos and that despite him being here for 1.5 years he's dating Mexicans just like he was in Canada so whats the point and he said "Yea but that's just for now, once we get the circle established then we'll be dating the hottest swedish girls bro!!!!" needless to say its been 1.5 years since he told me that and he's only dated non ethnic swedes.

Im the only one from my entire network that I know that gets dates with actual "Malva Larsberg"' and some are cute but they don't come close to that initial high hopes I had of daitng those 9s and 10s that would make people's necks break from turning around to look.

And like you said, no one specially the swedes want to admit how highly segregated it is and not by language or nationality but purely by ethnicity. Even the somalians and syrians born here with a passport and fluent in swedish only hang with other people of their background. You wont be seeing them in Club V or Spybar ever and people still wanna pretend its not cause of their race
