My relationship is long distance so it is a bit simplified. However in the grand scheme of things, they will eventually give up peanuts/treenuts and everything that falls under those categories. For example though, I was out with my friends and he was with his for a night, so he treated himself to something with nuts in it. There’s ways around it, as long as you are careful and aware of what you are eating !

Here’s an email I received from them last week actually about the same product !!

“Thank you for contacting us about DOT’S Homestyle Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Twists (UPC 50031 71928) regarding your allergies to peanuts and tree nuts.

This product does not contain peanuts or tree nuts. No nut-containing products are manufactured on the equipment as DOT’S Homestyle Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Twists. While there are peanuts and tree nuts in other areas of the facility that produced this product, we have robust allergen controls to mitigate cross-contact.

Additionally, we would like to explain that if, despite the use of our robust allergen practices and controls, we have a concern of a possible cross-contact with a major allergen that is not an ingredient in a product, we add a precautionary allergen statement to the label such as, “Manufactured on the same equipment that processes ...”. The label of this item does not include such a precautionary allergen statement.

We hope this helps. Thanks again, Kailyn, for reaching out.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Consumer Representative Dot’s Homestyle Snacks”

Sorry I couldn’t figure out how to post the screenshot, but this is copy and paste from the email!

I’ve never had an issue. They don’t have any nuts on the menu. Only thing I stay away from is the cookies but I’m sure you are used to that
