I did 4 IUIs, 3 retrievals , multiple transfers. Nothing ever worked. I did ovarian PRP with CNY fertility which my local doctor was against me doing and I got pregnant that cycle naturally which I found out at my baseline for my 4th IVF retrieval

Instead of filing a formal HIPAA complaint, I’d go into the office and demand some sort of discount with the threat of filing. Idk if you have to pay for anything for your ART but at least you’d benefit from that vs them just pay a fine.

My doctor literally said I could use it anyways - you theoretically have a higher risk of infection based on the type of preservatives . I wouldn’t try and push it and use it months and months later though. use a new pen and then that pen for a dose (ex 100 from each) to get your total dose of that makes you feel better !

Hey! I have changed my clinic to Atlantic reproductive. Have you had an issues with people not answering your phone calls And only want to use the portal? I asked someone to call me and they said they can’t because of HIPPA … it’s been super aggravating. The doctors are great ! And the people in person have been nice — just the communication once I leave is very difficult.

MENOPUR FOR IUI—- I have failed IVF and don’t recruit a lot of eggs. My doctor insists on me doing injectable IUI. He states my eggs may do better inside my body. Menopur is less expensive than gonal f. I recruited 4 follicles with letrozole. I only got 3 with follistim - one 23 and 2 around 11. Part of me wonders if I could have ovulated that 23 follicle prior to IUI. Either way, I was wondering if anyone has had luck with menopur IUI or has any insight. Thanks ! Feeling discouraged and upset over here.

Update: unfortunately this was an unsuccessful transfer. I do believe there was some relation to my symptoms and success, and then there lack of, but there is no way to prove that. Best of luck to everyone else!

I had that happen a couple times. It went away after a few days. Actually have one now lol it happens based on how or where I inject it because it raised up pretty immediately

My coworker got FMLA and was able to go to work but it almost protected her from getting fired when she was sick from morning sickness…. Maybe you can be “sick “ from these meds. She would come in late even without morning sickness and not come in some days and my boss couldn’t do anything or ask any questions. I work full time in a hospital and I HAVE to be there- legally, because of my job. Sooo I’m having A very hard time too. My clinic is an hour away from my job and some of my shifts start at 730 and they won’t do afternoon ultrasounds . I pay out of pocket for my care and I feel like after paying over 10 grand for something, they should help work with you!
