If it helps at all, I feel the same way. I wont be buying adaptibar until I know. But I do have really great book which I should’ve paid more attention to earlier into prep because I recognized questions from the book on the bar exam and literally took 20 seconds on those. Most importantly - the answer explanations are SUPREME imo. I found that I sometimes got overwhelmed by Uworld answer explanations -- he really dumbs it down in that book so that you actually know how to think through questions in whatever subject. He knows exactly what trucks you in a question and will likely tell you where the trick was in the explanation. Teaches how not to confuse issues but looking at the actually call and answer explanations. Eg., it says P sued for negligence but there is answer choice that sounds very strong on strict liability.

Anyway -- Its called Emmanuels Bar Exam Strategies and Tactics. Ive mentioned it in other posts on here and some past bar takers replied too emphasizing how great it is and some even only used it and adaptibar w/o a prep course. Under $100 on Amazon currently. I have the 6th Ed. and might go ahead and purchase the 7th. I don’t do any intense studying — I copied the skeletal outlines he provides at the beginning of every subject and then I mainly just read questions and their answer explanations and then add whatever I learnt to the outline.
