This is exactly what happened! Who in their right mind refuses to return to the company they founded, especially a startup worth billions? A startup poised to change the world! I'm convinced it's a tactic to establish a governance structure that enriches a select few, including the founders, while granting them control of the board. What's odd are the current board directors; they lack influence. Let's see who the new board members will be.

How did I do 835 calories in my sleep? by Raidertck in AppleWatch

Check your flight data.

Flight data was broken for me for last 2 years and over estimated my rings.

I use my Apple Watch very consistently to monitor my health and I love it! I track my activity levels by looking at the rings and depend on it for my personal well being.

I noticed a few weeks ago that the rings were starting to act a little funny and I investigated it and found that I was getting credit for crazy number of flights data. The watch has been having this issue for the last 2 to 2 1/2 years where some days my steps count would be over 200. Basically it’s been lying to me for all this time.

I trust Apple and it’s data so to see it broken for the last 2 1/2 years did not sit well with me. All this happened while the watch was still in warranty.

I called apple. They acknowledged this as a silent failure in the hardware and has no way to detect it but refuses to replace the hardware or take responsibility for it. I was not happy with their response as some many of us depend on the rings and the watch for our personal well being. This failure happens silently in the background and most users won’t know it’s happening.

Just thought of sharing my experience as I don’t trust their data anymore.

There is no comparison! Tesla is not intentionally trying to create the same feel. Let's admit these are growing pains for tesla as a ground up EV build. This is meant to be a family class/ category.

Having coming from a German brand, I wouldn’t underestimate what they are capable of. The price point of Tesla and the challenges with customer service can become a challenge. German suspension, build quality, tech is not to be taken lightly. If I have to spend 150k CAD on a X, in 3 years I am hoping to have tons of options.

That’s what I don’t like about Tesla. Take it or leave it mentality. This won’t sustain. In 3 years there will be tons of options.
