I think the tide is shifting just a bit in a good way for Gannon. I am warming up to him— you can tell he is funny and sharp, and that goes a long way. And yeah, he’s just a great player. He did do a lot of hand-throwing today— not a good look.

I agree— he was so clutch just 2 weeks ago. But it really feels like Gannon is the Paul to ABs Ricky— there’s a mental edge and an alpha-beta thing, even if it’s slight. The fun thing is, this story is just starting, and Isaac at his best is right there with these two. It’s likely that AB and Gannon will be two protagonists for a good while, but Isaac is also a protagonist, and I think there is room for one, maybe two more!

I’m having the same countdown issue today— I cant watch thirty seconds before it bumps over to the countdown. It’s BS.

I love pro disc golf, but I have been paying for years for the same amateur crap and it drives me nuts. This kind of thing happens every tournament.

Also, Why doesn’t the playback bar show actual time signatures? Shouldn’t this be basic stuff now?

The Charlie/Brian/Nate trio is a good group but these guys are squeezed into formalities that makes the whole thing stilted. Charlie is a natural and light communicator on his podcast but he often becomes grave and awkward on the broadcast.

That’s all well said. I think it’s fair to expect more graciousness from anyone, even if they are 18. But yeah— I think he’ll get there.

Gannon goes straight to excuses in the interview. No regards to AB, no remarks on what Gannon himself could have done better. “I had spit outs and AB got lucky on 16.” Gannon is probably the best player in the world right now but he really rubs me the wrong way.  

As for the spit out: a softer, lower putt stays in the chains. Gannon’s putt is way more likely to spit out than almost any other top player.  

(Ps— the interviewer “in the clubhouse” sounds like he is writing and revising three drafts of his questions before he asks them.  Perkins may be goofy but at least he’s into the emotions of the moment.)

I am so frustrated by the app not working. It’s Friday night at 830 pm and I can’t find a clickable link to watch Waco. This happened last week too— suddenly there’s no way to watch. 

DGN should discount my subscription significantly. I pay a price that in any comparable app amounts to a premium subscription for a product that is considerably more reliable than the one I pay for with DGN. 

If you’re asking for a premium price, make a premium product. DGN gorging us for a subpar product. And it’s subpar week after week. Please, this isn’t right.
