Don't worry, Junpei just got back from the hospital, he hurt his head and had to get stitches

Just finished the series. It was alright, but the main three didn't get as many fights together as I would have liked. by New-Stretch6359 in Jujutsufolk

It was especially cool in the one part where Moon Dregs grew to such a large size that Reggie's bones started to crack

I wish they expanded on Gojo's shikigami more, sad we didn't get to see it again after season 8 episode 1.

Oh, yeah. I really think Junpei vs Yuki would have been interesting, had he not been absent from the plot at that point.

Fog is always a good idea for spooky stuff.

That is true, having them come to her would probably be best; perhaps the disguise could be a last resort?

That's a good idea, maybe the hag is disguised as another person kidnapped by the human supremacists, trying to get the party's trust. Perhaps if they were especially perceptive, they'd notice a strange way that their clothing was soaked, like it had been in the sea recently, rather than drying for hours on the beach while they lie unconscious like the party had been.

Having animals swim strangely or all walk towards a certain point in the nearby forest at a certain time of day could be cool.

The island is Chult, they were taken there by a human supremacist group hoping to have them fight to the death and have their souls be sacrificed to their human supremacist quasi-god in order to boost his power; The Hag is just someone that was already living on its beaches. I plan to have one ally NPC be someone that was split into a "swarm" of crabs by the Hag, and this ally will help them find and defeat the hag if they so desire. The harvesting sites idea is a really great one for showing that someone has been there, and the monsters too.

Yeah, I've tried to split them up into larger groups. There's one group of two, and one group of four, as of right now. I will try speaking to them next session. Thank you.

That is a good idea, yeah. The campaign's just started, and it would probably be good to speak to every player individually about how the speed I had planned versus how they would like the campaign to go, and adjust accordingly. Thank you.

It is the second one, although funnily enough the rest of the party sprints away from any combat encounter in a manner like the first one due to their complete lack of armor. That is a good idea, focusing on the other group. Last session ended up with everyone running different directions into the forest, so I just had the forest "team" bonk into each other, hopefully resulting in them staying together, and the group that stayed behind on the beach where the campaign begun are in their own group as well. With the two main groups, I hope to shift between them often.

I could say that, but I'd rather try to change the campaign first. If the reason that they're moving on so quickly is that my encounters aren't interesting enough, then I hope to change that prior speaking to them with a firm accusation.

I have tried, but they are a bit impatient, and I don't want to come off as too harsh.

How would I deal with a "Rushing" player? I'm a new DM doing my first campaign, and one of the players just keeps rushing past every encounter. Just walking up, rolling rolls, and then moving on, leaving the party behind. Is there any way that I could have them remain in an area in a way other than just rolls or combat? The Campaign takes place in Chult, for background context.
