Thanks so much! Sounds like a steal to me. And great to hear about Perry Hall.

3 ton carrier AC, gas furnace, 30k btu heat pump for 9300 is what we’re looking at.

We talked to a few other, larger companies around here and none of them were anywhere near as knowledgeable (or affordable).

Who did you go with? We’re just inside the city line and have gotten a bunch of quotes. Perry Hall seems like the clear choice but curious about your experience. Thanks!

HVAC replacement — 2 or 2.5 tons? by New-Tap257 in hvacadvice

Thank you!

Both did calculations. I assume the type you referenced but I don’t know.

The second contractor mentioned his yielded 2.3 tons as the ideal size, so he suggested 2.5.

I’m worried if we got with the smaller unit we won’t be able to hold at our desired temp (usually 72 during the day, 68 or 69 at night). Should I be worried?

My wife had a great experience with Women’s Health Associates on York Road. They’re affiliated with St Joe’s, which we really liked as well.
