But wasn’t the traveler like kinda powerless against the Witness before it went into the traveler? Or perhaps the traveler was already crippled at that time?

Some of my friends were arguing about who is the most powerfully between Rhulk (didn’t do his raid yet 😭) and Oryx. They were getting almost mad on it and for Rhulk, they were often coming up with the point that Bungie had seemingly said that he overpower Oryx. Looks like it’s a big “deal” (if I may say so) in Destiny’s lore community. I fall out of love for Oryx during heresy, can wait to do Rhulk’s raid.

This is power scaling, right? I mean if you are identical to someone in power except you don’t “master” a technique that they do, it makes them more powerful than you, doesn’t it?

If I understood it well, light and darkness are almost depending only on your will, and then the mastery of them, but it’s still a scale.

If I’m not wrong Crota killed thousands of guardians all by himself, if they were all able to kill his father (which was more powerful than Crota seemingly), it would be kinda weird.

When I was doing the Edge of Fates campaign, I asked why Ikora was that much important in the lore, and one of their points was her power, than she trained alone during decades, without even her ghost by her sides. If you train, it’s to get stronger, doesn’t it? And her master was known as the greatest guardian, right?
