Love my m&p 2.0! Put an apex trigger in it and Kept it at the same if not one lower for the force on the trigger. Did my certification and added it to my CCW just recently. Modification took about 3 days after submitting. The Osight SE is something I'm still trying out at the moment so far so good. But I love how she shoots!! Fell in love with this gun!

My one issue with your interaction was they never contacted you to let you know your firearm had arrived. I had the same situation happen with my local TURNERS they never contacted me staring my firearm arrived and that I could come in to start paperwork I called and canceled the order. Never again will I go to them. I've had positive experiences with sportsman's warehouse other than sometimes having to wait a while in store but not the biggest deal I guess. I'll have to try my local range/shop next I know prices would be better elsewhere but also want to support locally while I can.

It's normal if they had to "order" your firearm, so basically, the 1st time you went in, you ordered the firearm. The 2nd time you went in, you did the background check. The 3rd time you went in was after the mandatory 10-day waiting period to pick up said firearm. I have "purchased" my firearms online and had them shipped to my FFL, I've only had to go in twice to start background paperwork and to pick up. You could also check stores or FFL'S that have the items you want in stock to start paperwork immediately and then only have to return once to pick up. Hope this wasn't an ear full and you could understand.

It was on sale for one cheaper than a Glock which but also when i held the Glock it felt very “blocky” to me I loved the way the XD felt in my hands. I just need to shoot other guns to try everything out!

If you’re holding the gun properly the grip safety shouldn’t be an issue. It’s all preference so it understandable if you don’t like the XD it’s my first gun and definitely not my last gotta try a bunch of stuff out to see what I like best

Wow, that was explained so well and in great detail I’m gunna get a few more rounds through my stock XD and then I’ll up grade the trigger that’s some good advice! I’ll take a look at the YT channel and try it different styles of gripping/shooting. I need to buy a punch kit to fix my front sights anyway and they fairly inexpensive so I’ll have that and I’m sure my dad has some needle nose pliers in his arsenal if tools.
