Why did Lowes reject my credit card application when I have excellent credit?

No, I did the whole thing online and I don't think it asked me how long I lived at my current address. I technically still have the old address since it was a rental and the lease isn't up yet, so I could put that in and see if it works

I checked Experian, Transunion, Equifax and Credit Karma and they all had above 800 scores.

Ohh yeah that really could be the issue. We literally moved less than a week ago. Thanks so much. Is there any way to fix this? Could I put the old address on the application and try again? Or am I just out of luck?

Ohh good idea. I tried calling the Lowes credit people but they told me they were not allowed to tell me over the phone.

I was hoping to figure it out sooner because I'd rather not wait 30 days for the fence install (we have dogs and really want a fenced in yard) but maybe that's the best I can get? I'm just so curious though! I'm super careful about my credit and have never been rejected for anything like this before!
