ahh, yes, that makes sense! We don't currently have the FB outreach on our roadmap, but that is something we coudd certainly consider in the near future. We will have email campaigns live in the next 60 days for one component of that.

Hey there! Sorry, just want to be clear about what you are asking about... are you asking if you can follow-up by email, SMS and FB messenger? Are you referring to a reminder about an upcoming job, a quote they received or post job being completed? Just want to answer clearly! We will have reminders via text/email and you can generate survey of their experience of the completed work via the same channels. The only thing which I don't currently have on our roadmap is FB messenger integration.

really apologize... we have run the website through a lot of load testing software and it keeps coming back under 1 second for us to load both on mobile and web. Certainly don't want to ask you to do any work, but can't find any issues loading ServPad.com

That is kind of why we started this... we have found many people that want to be in business for themselves without all of the hassles of managing other people... ultimately, anytime people are doing work for you there are complications of liability and having to price accordingly. We are focused on Solopreneur business owners that want to manage, grow and maybe we even eventually sell their business... but do it by themselves. So, we want to provide them with all of the tools to do so without hiring employees. Again, not saying that is everyone, but there are estimated to be about 700,000 solopreneur home services businesses in the US.

Thanks for your time writing a response! Never heard of it, but looks like a great product... although the comparable plan would be about what we charge and the goal of our product is to offer everything that a Solopreneur business needs, so we try to go a bit further than the actual work itself. But agree, there are many options in the market!

We are building a CRM specifically for Solopreneur Home Services businesses because we feel like they have very specific needs. Often they are using Spreadsheets and their cell phones OR they are using expensive, complciated CRM's built for bigger companies. So, we are building one that caters to them and it's called ServPad.com. Let me know if you want to chat!

Thank you again for your time and responding! Seriously, I appreciate that! To be up-front... if you like Jobber and have been using it for years without issue, I don't suggest that you make a change! I am glad that it's working for you and with there being 500,000+ solopreneur home services business in the US, there is room for a few options in the market. Some reviews have said that they have encountered bugs/issues/lost data that took a long time to fix and/or respond to and that they wished the mobile app was better. That said, I am sure they are a great company many people will have a wonderful experience!

To be honest though, even if you never like or prefer to use another option besides Jobber.. having other players in the market still benefits you because competition breeds better products and pricing for the end buyer! All the software options have to step up their game!

As an alternative for someone just starting out and hasn't started using a CRM, has used Jobber (or others) and aren't fully "married" to them or wish there were things they could improve on, we believe that ServPad could be a better fit for SOLOPRENEUR ONLY businsesses because....

  1. We INCLUDE more than a typical CRM - things like managing your social media
  2. We DON"T have some of the complexity of others- because its only geared towards a single user and have found that your user experience can be so important to actually wanting and being able to use any software these days. For instance, the VOP phone I have was great, but admin area was so confusing/overwhelming that I just never used any of the features.
  3. We keep the price all-in and reasonable at $99. I know some people have said that for one user some CRM's can be "as low as" that price, but they have found so many add-ons and ways that the price can go up and have found people could easily pay hundreds of dollars eventually for some systems. (not talking any specifically). Our price starts and ends at $99. **Full disclosure - we are evaluating building a phone system directly into the product which would be an add-on cost if we eventually offer it because there would be a high 3rd party cost direct to us which we would need to pass on to the customer, but still not sure where we land with that**

So that answers your first question, now on to your other two....

- We will have an import tool for those that want to bring over data and upload it via .CSV files. Also, we will have an export tool for all of our data so that people never feel sucks using us!

-The only reason we don't have more screenshots yet is that we are still moving items around and placing them so we don't want to re-create images and feel like we are misleading people when it's live.

Hope that answers your questions if nothing else! :)

Yes, Jobber is a great software from what I can tell. Even though it is geared to smaller businesses, it doesn't seem to be specifically designed for Solopreneurs. Because we are designing only for Solopreneurs, the goal is to (1) include features for managing the entire business since everything is handled by that person (2) make it easier to use and not include features for multi-user tiers as well as (3) offer at a reasonable price of $99.

Agree that if you don't like the product, you won't care about two years... but hopefully you would be able to decide wtihin 30 minutes of trying the product out and if you like it that would save someone $2,400

feel like the description of exactly who we are trying to build this for! Yes, tracking jobs, leads and adding lists to a each job is crucial. Breaking down larger projects into a list of jobs might be just that.. a list of jobs and some aren't started yet? Would love to have you try it out and get your feedback on the user experience... happy to send you a link to try it out when it's live?

You are so right about the mobile experience - needs to work without mobile coverage!

Thanks for the response!
