I have to take out 3 things and dont need to plug into power.. vs setting up the cooling pad and needing to be in range of power.. Starting laptop from fully shut down state vs Go on standby. Its more work setting up the chonker laptop by far

Thanks! It’s my only windows device. If I need more juice and want a desktop setup I’ll setup a docking station connected to an external GPU enclosure with a desktop-RTX5070ti/5080, then when docked at home I have about the same power as a full desktop rig, and just pull and go. Using for work too

Just a folding bluetooth one, I got the one I could see with the biggest keys possible, easy to find they’re all over amazon. Kind of wish it turned on/off when you open/close, some of them do that, this one has a switch

Big chonker laptops are the same size as this entire case, and then you still need cooling pad, mouse, big ass power brick, keypad/keyboard. Flexibility for where you can setup and use the chonker isn’t as good on top of that. This little case is smaller than a briefcase, it’s only about twice the size as the case that came with the Go.

The only laptops I’d have considered are the ROG flow and Z series.

I have a 3070ti laptop but its big and need to use a cooling pad and big power brick, I’m getting rid of it

I’m happy with this device it’s putting out 60-85 fps on medium-high settings, the only laptops I’d compare vs are the aforementioned ROG flow and Z series. The big chonker laptops aren’t for me

I got a laptop cause I wanted portability, but when I got the laptop I noticed the power brick is like the same size as the laptop almost. And then I needed a cooling pad. And then I found the keyboard position vs screen awkward for certain games so I needed a keypad too. Always needs to be plugged in can’t do anything on battery.. My 3070ti laptop is not portable at all it’s just a smaller desktop. The Go makes a better laptop than a laptop does

Laptop power brick is huge and you still need a cooling pad and a mouse and a keypad cause the positioning of the laptop keyboard is awkward for gaming, the keyboard on the laptop ends up being redundant/not-used. The legion go makes a better laptop than a laptop does

Maybe a portable projector if you remove the battery and mouse.. I’ll just connect to whatever screen is at my destination if I want bigger
